  • Great name for the episode

    Great name for the episode.

But Allison waking up the way she does so often, yet again, makes one think she and Joe ought to get twin beds, and spare poor Joe from the never ending ordeal of sleep deprivation. .
  • This episode was all about cars, with Allison solving a murder case that took place within a car, and with Joe's coworker, Meghan, using their environmental car business as a way to get a little bit too close to Joe.moreless

Interesting opening about the 'violent systems' such as alarm clocks. The gas we take for granted that comes from pipes all over America. And then the car, based around the 'rolling ball, equipped with stereophonic sound, and adjustable seats'. And when it blew up, that was like, WOW.

Funny morning moment when Bridget asked if the kid, sitting at a table, eating cereal, looking a cereal box, with a picture of a kid, sitting at a table, eating cereal... went on until the kids keep getting smaller and smaller until it's the size of a molecule. Hahahaha.

When Joe scared Allison by turning the key in the car, while her and her kids waited across the street. When Allison was running towards the garage all panicky, I actually believed for a second that the car might actually blow up. But it didn't, yay.

Allison paying a visit to his office, meeting Meghan Doyle and making dinner plans was alright. But I knew already it'd never happen, duh. There are enough girls and women in the show to draw the focus away from Allison. Especially a really pretty one (No offense, Cynthia Keener).

"Is this the car I'm going to drive when I turn 16?" is just one of the displays of excitement they girls and Allison had when Joe brought home a used car, but of course, Allison has a dream about it, ruining the whole thing. I don't know how people like Joe in Medium or Jim in Ghost Whisperer put up with their wives.

At Joe's office, Meghan gets a little drunk and silly with Joe, and some tension is created when Allison dreams the scene. Again, I actually thought that something terrible could happen. But no, I should have a little bit more faith really. Joe would never do anything like that.

And as for the case this episode, is was about a driver of the car being traumatized by his wife being shot in his car. The scene with the bullet going towards the head was pretty scary. I feel kinda sorry for that Latino model who just had his poster in the victim's garage. But the truth of it is, The real culprit was the husband, as you can expect from most television crimes. And the way he did it, was he pulled a tennis ball hanging from the ceiling that pulled the trigger of a gun. Not the best murder plot, but uh... Good for the husband, I guess. If it wasn't for Allison's dreams, he'd probably get away from it.moreless
  • Another great episode!

    9.0
The episode focused on the Dubois's getting a new car after the station wagon stopped running. Joe buys a "new" used car which seems more new than used, but Allison soon finds out that there is more to the car than meets the eye. One night, she gets into the car and gets a vision of what happened to the previous owners. Eventually, she realizes that the previous owner may have killed his wife. On the other hand, Joe and his business partner get a new office but need to wait for a patent check until they can build a prototype. However, something may happen between Joe and Megan.

This episode was really good. It reminded me of a "Twilight Zone" episode where a car repeatedly reminds a man of his running over a little boy until he finally turns himself in.moreless
  • Car troubles lead to...the Stephen King movie "Christine"?

    9.7
Allison dreams that her old car blows up when she starts it.. Finally, she and the children hide across the street until Joe tells them that the car won't start. So he surprises Allison with a relatively new used car which she senses has a murderous past.

Meanwhile Joe and new partner are waiting on patents to clear the Eastern block and Allison dreams that Joe's partner makes an advance on him.

Finally Allison figures out how the murder took place. She only figures it out once the car takes her back to the scene of the crime. Allison calls Scanlon for a ride and they try to figure out how to get a search warrant on the house. Meanwhile, the car exacts revenge for the murder...

A really cool episode with a nice twist at the end.moreless
  • great episode

Allison gets a nightmare about a car exploding in her garage. She becomes paranoid and actually thinks that something will happen to her car. When Joe takes a look at her car, he realizes that the battery is dead and the car wouldn't start. Joe takes the car to a car repair service and buys a slightly old SUV that still looks very new. At first Joe thinks it's a good thing, but Allison starts getting nightmares about what took place with the car. Allison finally meets Joe's business partner Megan Doyle. It's a really exciting episode, i enjoyed watching every minute of it.moreless

Bridgette: Did you ever notice on the cereal box, there's a picture of a kid, sitting at a table eating cereal.
