Good episode in general, I loved the flash-forwards(?) it was nice to see the kids all grown up,  I always like when all of the stories tie in together, for a while I was thinking that Alison wasn't going to get to solve a crime in this one

I looked at this as more of a Scanlon episode than anything else because Allison was so freaky in this and couldn't quite much sense of anything till the end. It was great though. Everything made sense at the end.

Great episode overall. The most major flaw, in my opinion, was all the sudden assumptions that the characters were able to make at the end. But still a clever plot. Glad to see more of Scanlon's character development as well.

But where is Devalos?? He's barely appeared in the show lately!

Was I the only one confused with Lynn DiNovi's appearance in the episode?  Why did Scanlon dream that he was still with her...what was the point of it?

I'm really hoping that the dream of Scanlon with DiNovi was just because he is lonely and she was the most recent relationship he's had, so naturally, he'd dream of her.  The loud scream you heard followed the the loud THUD, was me before I found out it was only a dream! Whew!

I only hope they are not setting up for Scanlon and DiNovi to get back together. PLEASE NEVER LET THIS HAPPEN!  At least find someone who can act.

As far as the overall episode, I'm always glad to see more of Scanlon. I thought they were a little heavy handed with the Marie stuff - a little too carried away with the doom and gloom and the fighting between Allison and Joe - sometimes less is more.  Also, they usually temper the serious stuff with lighthearted stuff - usually Scanlon saying something smart alecky, but this time he was very subdued for much of the episode - perhaps it was the death of Gary that kept him so subdued.

Obvioulsy, any Mom would be devasted to think their child had something that was incurable or would cause them great suffering. However, because they dwelled on this aspect of it so much, I think it turned some viewers off.

It was nice it came together in the end and I loved Scanlon coming in to see Allison at the end with the remark about there being "55 While You Were Out sticky notes taped to your cubicle".  There's the Scanlon we know and love!

Again, it was another creative episode from the writers.  Good job!

It was the new neighborhood that was going to give Mairie leukemia. As they decided not to move and stay in the house they already had, I think it is safe to say little Marie is going to be just fine .
