I kinda agree with this. A lot of the characters, Scanlon, Devalos, and Joe always seem to be disbelieving in her dreams and she's right almost every time.

But Allison is too trusting of her own dreams as well-- often too ready to put stock in something that it turns out has either-- happened in the past, not happening exactly the way its portrayed, etc. etc....

I don't agree with you! So what everybody is disbelieving her dreams? The conflicts make the show. The element of surprise is bigger this way! i love this part of the show.

Joe doesn't need to be killed off. He maybe could use a little rewriting at times, but that's about it.

Joe is the one guy who tries to help her make sense of her dreams - and they don't always make sense at first. He has three daughters with similar abilities, how can you say he doesn't believe. I love this character although I do agree they could do a litttle better with the writing for him.

Joe keeps Allison in line. I took him out of that list.

Joe Dubois is a good actor and I feel that the show would not be the same without him. I'm surprised he puts up with someone who is waking up with bad dreams every night. If anything should happen on that show its to have Patricia Arquette see an orthodonist for her teeth.

Well, maybe not killing him off. But maybe not just making her seem like a fool every time she dreams something and try to help her out with it.

A couple of seasons ago, I would have agreed with this but not now. He is a good husband, good father, and he has been a relevant character.

No offense to whoever put up that list but its pretty much crap (with the exception of Meg), so I wouldn't put much stock in it.

It's true that Joe does sometimes make fun of a lot of Allison's dreams, and that CAN be a bit annoying, but the writers have made him into an excellent husband and father and he and he, along with the DA and Lee support her pretty well. She needs Joe around, killing him off would wreck the show and she'd probably stop dreaming! The show is actually far more interesting, in my opinion, than the books by the real Allison DuBois, then again, that's what television is for!
