Medium: Medium Cancelled AND Ending Early

Yes...they don't officially say it's cancelled, but CBS is cutting this season's episode order from 22 to 13 episodes.Add on the fact that the ratings suck this year, and there'sway they'dcut the episode orderif they wanna bring it back (I'm not buying the "it's only to make room for new shows" theory).

It's sad to see it go out like this...they should have just ended it after last season, when it had a good finale. It's kinda limping along with nothing really happening anymore.

i knew it, i cant say im shocked..i mean i had wrote a topic about this b/c alot of fans were saying dat it may get cancel before it full season b/c of low ratings and i ask how many epidsoes willmedium get if it gets cancel early and alot of you said 13.and now thats it seems its true its kinda sad medium ratings are down the toilet but hey i hope they end this season well....

It's really upsetting. I wish they would CBS would have given it it's full 22 episode run. At least it made it to 130 episodes. But even with the poor ratings, a show in it's 7th season deserves the proper amount of episodes.

I wonder if CBS will release the DVD and if so when? The usual October release, so Oct 2011? or since its short this season, before?

I also hope the final episode is in january so it could be officially over in 2011.

i just read that CBS is cutting Medium short to 13 episodes, i think that is stupid, the show deserves at least 22 episodes proper final episodes.
now whe will get only 13 episodes, that is robbery with high stakes.
i do hope whe will get a ending that is right for this show. a proper ending.

I think is doing a complete wrong move her, they don´t now what they are doing..

This isn't at all a surprise. I just wish that, if they're going to cancel it, they would just own up and say so, rather than playing games. That way, we can at least be sure of getting a proper series finale.

Yes exactly! The last two finales were great, they seriously need to show some respect to a show this old (and with such a prominent creator) and let them know they're going to cancel it.

Agreed. They should also give it the proper 24 episode order. It's a great show, with a great following. It's not like it's its first or second season, it's season 7. It made it this far for a reason.

so far they got 8 epsidoes record thats means the writers got 5 epsiodes to bring medium to an end and thats the most frusting part b/c the writers may think theyll get their 22 epsidoes order and they want ended at 7.13..so cbs need to let the writer know if its ended on 13 they need to be making a finale.

It depends on how they run the rest of the episodes, but I'm gonna guess the final episode will air at the end of January/beginning of February. That is unless they just burn off the originals straight through the end of December.

I don't think we really know for sure whether or not all of the episodes have already been written/filmed, or if they still have time to pull something together that could work as a season finale.

No ! No ! I want my medium. Don't care about the rating. What will I watch instead ? Nothing. The rest of the shows friday night are nothing compare to Medium. So far still 2 shows at the same level : House and the good wife.

Actually NBC originally had renewed Medium for a sixth season, but it was once again only for mid-season. CBS, having the deal with lifetime wanted them to give it more episodes up-front and pretty much forced them to get rid of it. Then CBS looked like a hero picking it up and had a great combo putting it with Ghost Whisperer.-At least that is the way it seems. So you never know, it may have got to season 7 anyway.

A great joke ending would be Joe killing Allison, and getting a good nights sleep for the first time in a long time

Or maybe Allison loses her gift, giving Joe hours extra of sleep a week
