Is it just me or does this plot feel a lot like a few episodes of Law & Order from years ago? I seem to recall one episode with a woman who ended up buying a kids store who killed her husband and a few other people the same way to get settlement money from the drug company. This episode of Medium does feel a little different but not by much.

I loved Marie in this episode. "Daddy, gimme a hint."

And Joe has The Sound of Music on his iPod! XD

Ditto plus Joe's "Mac Daddy" bit and when Allison questioned him about his partner's marital status/wearing a ring: "I'm a boy - it's one of the differences. I don't notice rings and I pee standing up."

I'm watching right now. So far, reasonably decent, but what is this load about Joe not being able to get an appointment to get the eye exam / eyeglasses because they don't have insurance? I don't have insurance, and I was able to get an appointment / everything taken care of within a couple weeks, not "two months!

I am about 98% certain he said, "this is my daughter's player".

Yeah. I've not had insurance for that in the past and never had a problem. As long as you can actually pay, they don't care if you have insurance. And some places will bill you or let you make payments.

That just made NO sense to me.
