The beginning of the end starts tonight, with the third-to-last episode of Medium, "Only Half Lucky." In tonight's episode:

"While Allison's dream arouses suspicion regarding her brother Michael, Bridgette's abilities pique the interest of Devalos' campaign manager."

Tune in, or set your recorder. You won't want to miss the final episodes of Medium. I know I'm excited!

Oops, I didn't realize someone had already started a new topic about tonight's new episode or I wouldn't have started one. My apologies; didn't mean to ignore or step on anyone's toes.

Well, it was a pretty good episode...but replacing the actor who has played Allison's brother since Season 1? Ugh that ruined it!

I'm glad I am not the only one who felt this way. It would have been a nice way to farewell the character if the right actor was playing the part.

I expected the episode to be more interesting or exciting given there are only a couple left.

I have just re-watched seasons 1 - 4 and it's like a different show, the story lines feel so lazy and predictable now. The actors look bored. Frown

I loved the episode. I thought it was a lot of fun and a very good story, both the main plot and the Bridgette subplot. I didn't mind at all that they changed the actor that played Allison's brother. Maybe the original actor just wasn't available. You do know that it was David Arquette who played the brother, right?

The orignal Michael is played by Ryan Hurst, who's busy being Opie on Sons of Anarchy. (As a SoA fan, I don't mind them replacing Michael for the one episode, knowing what the original Michael is doing now)

But I was wondering, at some point I thought I heard the therapist-ghost saying: "a new improved Michael Benois" or something. Isn't Allisons maiden name Rolen? Thus, it should be Michael's last name too? Or did I mishear something?

I think Benoit is a family name. Allison's grandma was named Benoit. Maybe it's the name he chose to go with.

No, sounds like something was wrong with your TV or the signal.

If your television is still experiencing similar problems, then there's something wrong with it. If not, then something went wrong with your station's signal.

Not totally sure exactly what I thought of this one. Given that there are only two left, I would rather they wrapped up some storylines for more central characters than Allison's brother. Also, although I thought David Arquette did a good job, he bore no resemblance either physically or as an actor to the man who has played the role in the other appearances of Michael Benoit so I dound the 'pitch' of the performance to be wrong because even when he was at his lowest point, he still seemed stronger and more confident than the earlier 'Michael' storylines.

I enjoyed Bridgette interacting with Devalos. Maria Lark is a very talented young lady and Miguel Sandoval has always been one of my favourite 'Medium' characters so it was good to see the scene with him and Bridgette. It looks as though I won't get my wish and have Ariel back at all, unless they bring her in for the final episode, which, I suppose, is a possibility.

Two more to go and one of them at least has to deal with the dire warnings from Joe's mother.

    Hi Everyone,

I just made this account to see if there is anyone else that sees this....

The campaign manager reminds me of Ariel. Her facial expressions and the way she speaks. When I first saw her I thought it was Ariel in a Fat-suit!

Am I alone in this? Or do you think I'm nuts? Take a look. She first appears at about the 7:30 mark.

The campaign manager reminded me of the friend from Ghost Whisperer (The fat one, not the one from the first season)
