TV Guide Sept 14-20, 2009 pg 58: Q&A with Patricia Arquette - check it out

Word is you'll do a "very special" Halloween episode. We're inserting Allison into footage from the original Night of the Living Dead.

I guess I should make this topic sticky, so we can try to keep all related info in one place. But this isn't a super-busy forum, so if someone thinks a specific piece of news is really important and warrents its own thread that's okay too.

Or if anyone really hates this idea feel free to also met me know about that.

TVGuide: Should Allison Dubois be used to having visions by now? I've asked the same thing many times!

Interesting article by Ingela Ratledge discussing the TV Allison and the real Allison. Excerpt: ...(...for the record, DuBois does her channeling while awake: "I dream like everyone else.") And much like her on-screen alter-ego, DuBois frequently has trouble convincing those around her that all of her freaky 411 is legit - no matter how many times they've seen her gift in action. "My husband Joe is a rocket scientist, and sometimes even he can't believe the things the dead tell me," says DuBois. "It's a little mind-blowing sometimes."

Yeah, I want to know that too! Maybe the real Allison Dubois could give us some insight into THAT, lol!

I think that is highly doubtful (not impossible, but doubtful). Even if the show isn't going to get renewed (which I think it will, again not 100% certain, but likely) they wouldn't kill a mother of 3.

Would give a major twist thought, if they killed Allison and make the final scene 5 years later with showing the family of Allison and her friends. Would be something else than other shows who all end in happy endings. But depends if we get another season too. And I hope there is going to be a season 7, even if its 13 episodes. But I got a good feeling it will return.

We now know it has been renewed, but now we need to know WHEN it will be aired and how often and how many episodes ???

Been following this since the series started, its great watching the kids grow up and develop, Ariel is going to be a VERY pretty lady when she is older, I really hope she can maintain the innocence she portrays and not get involved with the usual drug scene and getting really rubbish shows

Bridgette comes over as a real character, its a shame she doesnt get more (the same with Marie) airtime, and she seems the tomboy type, but that never really gets shown

The problem Marie had taking things, I had many years ago with my daughter, she just couldnt fathom this right from wrong thing for a while (its a good thing UK shop keepers and store owners are a bit more lenient in the UK)

Fantastic show, hope it runs for a long time (at a risk of the cast being type cast)

Excellent, I am looking forward to it. I just hope they don't focus too much on Ariel because they certainly did at the end of last season and I found that somewhat annoying.

From EW paper edition (Aug 13)/Ausiello: The Season 7 premiere is "basically Freaky Friday" says exec producrer Glenn Gordon Caron, as Allison trades places with Bridgette.

TVGuide paper edition Jan 17-23, 2011, page 50-51: Medium's Final Message

    Excerpt:
    ***SPOILER***
    What!? are they for real?

Nice 2 page read with insights from the cast.

From Creator Glenn Cordon Caron: "The extraordinary marriage of Allison and Joe is the fuel that's driven this series from the start, and that's what we'll honor when the show ends. You won't be wondering what happened to any of our people. There will be a genuine and provocative end to our story, though some viewers may take exception to what we've done.....Everyone is going to be fine."

Sofia Vassilieva (Ariel) will return for the finale.

Glad to hear she's returning. I haven't read TV Guide in a long time, but I might just have to get that.

Haha did anyone else read/hear about how the real Allison DuBois was on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and she was pretty much a crazy drunk you-know-what...except she says it was all due to the editing, and she wasn't drunk or the main trouble-starter. Whatever Allison!

    Funny stuff.

Ohhh and Tesser I really hope that spoiler isn't true, it soundsso stupid!

Edward - if you mean, is it going to be on the show - yes, it's for real. I read that same article. If you mean, "Does it turn out to be part of some crazy dream of Allison's" - who knows?
