  • Excitement - and what a cliffhanger!

At first I thought the main plot was resolved rather too quickly, until I realised what the point of the episode was.

It's exciting to see a plotline which actually catches our attention for longer than an episode and a half - something even I've been waiting all season for.

The flawlessness of Al's dreams are brough into question in a fundamental way, making good use of previous "visitors" who've sent her dreams (the FBI agent, Joe's dad etc.). This, more than shootings, risk of death or any case they can think of, is the core of the show and I for one am really looking forward to seeing where this goes.moreless
  • reserving final judgement until i see part two!

I think this ep restored some needed tension and fallibility to Allison's psychicorama. On the one hand i'm not a big fan of stalker plots, and Allison has had SO many stalkers. like this woman if it was real life would likely need to be on heavy meds for massive post trauma i would think! anyway, i have to confess, i fell asleep after about the first half and then skipped to the tail end. based on that i fill in the pieces. i will tune in next week to see how it plays out and if good i'll go back and watch the rest. one thing i will say though is i do think it is good they are trying to shake things up.moreless

FILTER BY TYPE

  • TRIVIA (3)

    • In the letter addressed to Allison at the beginning of the episode, the address, as written when the envelope is sealed, is:

      28807 Feather Star Road
      Phoenix, AZ 88061

When the letter arrives to Allison the address is:

      27801 Feather Star Road
      Phoenix, AZ 85061

Both the street number and zip code are different. The 88061 is an incorrect New Mexico zip code, while 85061 is a Phoenix zip code.

    • Goof: From when Allison first hears the water until it shuts off, only about 25 seconds elapse. Despite the fact that it's a relatively low-pressure faucet, the bath tub the water is filling is more than half full.

    • Goof: When Allison wakes up from a dream to write down a license plate number, the letters and numbers span multiple lines on the paper. However, when she turns the pad towards Joe, the letters and numbers fit neatly on one single line, and are written in a different spot on the paper than they were before.

  • QUOTES (1)

    • Allison: What if I just stopped?
      Joe: Stopped what?
Allison: Stopped dreaming. Stopped seeing things.
Joe: I didn't know you could do that.
Allison: No, you know what I mean. What if I just stopped paying attention? Stopped telling anyone. What if I just pretended it wasn't happening?
Joe: I didn't know that you could do that either.
