How is it possible for Mega Man to absorb Spark Mandrill's weapon? Wouldn't his weapon power be too much for Mega Man to handle?
Mega Man X: (Holding his blaster to Vile's head) The showdown is over Vile, and you lost.
(Spark Mandrill blasts Mega Man X)
Guts Man: We heard the silent alarm, Dr. Wily. What gives?
This is the last episode in which a character (X, who incidentally is the third robot to use this ability) copies a weapon from another robot.
Mega Man X is portrayed in this cartoon as a rampaging psycho-maniac who goes around destroying everything in the name of justice, whereas his video game counter-part seriously dislikes violence, and at one time even retired from the hunters because of it.
Dr. Cain is showed here like a man around 40 years, when in the games he's older, around 70 years.
Unlike the games, Mega Man X is addressed as "Mega Man X" instead of just "X".
This is the first time Mega Man X appears in cartoon format, in the game Mega Man X4, he appears in anime format. Re: Before that, he had an anime appearance in the Saturn and PS versions of Mega Man X3
The show once again continues its "double-aging" of characters. Mega Man X is an adult in the TV show, but a teenager in the original video games.
