You know, this episode is by far incredible. I laughed myself until things went to the max. I loved it a lot and I know that if they bring it back, I'm for certain that I will enjoy every bit of it. But for the time being, I really enjoy the series.

Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

FILTER BY TYPE

  • TRIVIA (2)

    • Gauge: Megas' oil level indicator has these levels: "none", "good enough", "plenty", "more than enough", "no, really, I'm fine", and "PLEASE STOP". Coop, of course, fills it to the highest setting.

    • Coop uses his horn while in outer space and it attracts some space monsters from a near-by planet. However, space is a vacuum and it shouldn't have been possible for the creatures to hear the horn after Coop used it.

  • QUOTES (13)

  • NOTES (5)

    • While all of the other protraits on the protrait room wall depicting Captain Warlock's past love interests are female, the last one shown as the camera pans is actually a red-haired man.

    • In this episode, it is revealed that Megas has a 'That Cool Giant Energy Sword Thing' button in its control system. When the same button is pressed later, it is now labeled "Exactly the same button Coop just used like five minutes ago" (just before the "coucharacha" horn gets tossed).

    • Captain Warlock has a thing for red-heads, which is why he was so interested in Kiva.

    • One of the pictures that Captain Warlock has in his portrait room is of one of the alien girls Jamie picks up in the episode Battle Royale.

    • Ending Credits: The camera pans along Warlock, Goat and Coop who all shed a tear. The angle switches behind them to reveal that Warlock and Goat were staring at a painting of Kiva while Coop was looking at a painting of a Philly cheese steak.

  • ALLUSIONS (4)

    • Captain Warlock is based on the character Captain Harlock, in which Captain Warlock's personality and even his attire was modeled after such.

    • In this episode, Coop and Jamie use a device that can create any food instantly, though Jamie attempts to use it to fulfill his desires. This seems to have been modeled off of the replicator in the Star Trek series.

    • In this episode, Coop makes a reference to the Pirates of the Caribbean ride at Disneyland in Walt Disney World.

    • The enemy mechs that Coop fights in this episode looks very similar to several Gundams that have appeared in the series by the same name.
