The number of buttons on one of the controllers in Megas' cockpit alternates between four and five throughout the episode.
When the UND robot plucked Megas through the three building, Megas stopped right after it hit the fourth one, then it fell to the floor. However, after it fell down, the fourth building that it ran into completely disappeared.
Kiva: I should of stayed in the future.
Kiva: That robot is a very dangerous weapon and I want it back!
Coop: Hey I found it, it's mine! Finders-Keepers!
(Coop accidentally pulled on the car alarm on MEGAS)
Jamie: Coop, turn it off! Turn it OFF!!!
Coop: I'm trying, but it's not working! (As Coop and Jamie try to turn the alarm off, Kiva and her robot companions come through a time rift and shut off the alarm)
Coop: Alright, you alien chumps! You're in my town and nobody gets to wreck it! Uh, 'cept for me! Okay, where's first gear again?
Goat (after seeing Megas in the air): Where's my two bucks?
Coop (sifting through a junk pile): How much for this?
Goat: Uh, let's see here. Two bucks.
Coop: How 'bout this?
Goat: Two bucks.
Coop: Hey, how 'bout this?
Goat: Two dollars!
Goat: Two bucks! Anything in that pile; two bucks! I doubt that whole pile is worth more than two bucks!
(Coop pulls at a broken car's exhaust pipe at the base of the junk pile, it falls down and reveals Megas)
Coop: Woah, what's that?
Goat: No idea.
Coop: Two bucks, huh? I'll take it!
Goat: Oh man.
Coop: Wow, I'm getting pretty popular. Too bad it's with aliens and crazy redheads.
Kiva: What do you do with the Time Flux control unit? It used to be right there.
(Kiva points to the hula girl on the dash board, the scene flashes back to Coop yelling and smashing the Time Flux with a pipe)
Goat: Right on!
(The scene flashes back to the present)
Coop: Oh yeah, that couldn't fix that part.
Kiva: Look at them all! These odds are awful!
Coop: You're right, it is kind of unfair.
(Coop destroys the remaining drone)
Coop: Now it's fair.
Coop: I know this thing like the back of my hand. (he hits the Tachyon Beacon)
Kiva: Idiot! That was the Tachyon Beacon! The Glorft can find us now!
Coop: Whoops!
Jamie: So, uh, these Glorft guys are like, invincible aliens that drive super-sized, ugly, snot-green robots?
Kiva: Yes, how did you know?
Jamie: 'Cause... (pointing forward) ...that kinda looks like them.
Coop: I'm no hero, I'm just a guy from Jersey!
Gorrath: Blow them out of the skies!
Kiva: I fought him before, there's no way to beat it!
Coop: No wonder you guys lost, with that attitude.
Kiva: My robot wasn't meant to be a toy for a prehistoric yahoo and his pet monkey thing.
Jamie: Monkey thing? Monkey thing?! Blast her Coop!
(Coop presses a button that causes Megas to rise up from the ground, it destroys Coop's house)
Jamie: Your mom is so going to kill you.
Coop: Whoa, where'd they come from?
Kiva: The future! Now hand over my robot, you primitives!
Jamie (raising his hands): I'm not with him.
Jamie: Yeah! Next time we won't go easy on you!
Coop: There you go with the "we" stuff again!
Jamie: Chicks dig giant robots.
Coop smashed the time Flux, so nobody can get back to the future for quite some time.
This episode marks the only time in the series where the future is seen.
Coop took Megas without paying the two bucks to Goat, which would mean Goat still legally owns Megas.
Throughout this episode, Jamie's name isn't revealed so fans of the series wouldn't actually know who he is until later episodes.
Throughout this episode and in many other episodes in the series, something PopTV related is destroyed. This is because the creators of this series were angry at MTV for canceling their other series on that network.
Ending Credits: Coop, Jamie and Kiva are taking Megas through a drive-thru at a fast food restaurant.
The name of the elementary school that got crushed in this episode was called St. Prynoski Elementary School. This is a nod to the director of the series, Chris Prynoski.
This episode of Megas XLR was part of a competition by Cartoon Network to see which would be their new series. This episode was originally eleven minutes long and the series was called LowBrow, though the episode was later extended and the series' name was changes when it became an official Cartoon Network cartoon, despite the fact that it didn't win the competition.
Episode's Villains: The Glorft.
The car that is used as megas' head looks like a 1972's Plymouth Barracuda
The Pop TV (or Pop Television) logo is a spoof version from the original logo MTV (Music Televsion). MTV is one of the most popular brand of music channel in the world.
The music that is playing during the Glorft scene towards the beginning of the episode is quite similar to the theme from Bram Stoker's Dracula.
