Melissa asks Joey how he got Lennox to show up at the meeting, and he tells her that he paid her. Melissa then tells Joey that bribing Lennox is bad parenting.

Joey explains to Melissa that he needs a job because he is losing everything. She then tell him that she can't help him because she is so busy juggling work and home.

Joey thinks he is being a great nanny when he punishes Ryder by keeping him home and allowing Lennox to go out before her meeting.

Melissa explains to Lennox that school is important and that they have a meeting with the principal to apologize.
