Michael: (to Lexi) I was thinking about what you said about me not being happily ever after material, and I have something to say back to you: look who's talking.
Michael: (on Ryan) He reminds me of a square-jawed narc sometimes.
Lexi: There are a lot of female sharks in the water, and Ryan is top sirolin.
Megan: I have no intention of letting anyone else gobble!
Lexi: You are such a big woolly buddy bear for seeing me this early!
Visconti: Let's keep this a little more professional.
Michael: I saw myself on a chain gang, being wife to some bubba.
Guest star Chea Courtney is the daughter of baseball's all-time hit leader, Pete Rose; and half-sister of former major leaguer Pete Rose Jr.
Andrew Shue and Courtney Thorne-Smith appear in a first season flashback to Amanda's purchase of the building in Suspicious Minds. Other past characters mentioned include Sydney, Kimberly, Brooke and Brett. Kyle's sudden interest in construction may be a sly reference to Rob Estes' previous role on Melrose Place as construction worker Sam Towler (but it probably isn't).
The title is a pun of the 1998 movie Pleasantville.
