I saw the ending of the episode, "Don't Be Cruel". I loved that version of the song. Does anyone know whether or not this is Jason's ownarrangement?

I think he can sing because he played the lead singer in Almost Famous.

Anyway, I love this show not only for the storyline but for its music and specially for its tribute to Elvis.

I really wished to know who does the singing on Memphis Beat because unfortunately it's not Jason Lee but the voice does fit him really well, imo and I like the way it sounds. So it's a shame we don't know the name behind the voice.

From an interview Jason Lee did at the start of the show:

Speaking of the music. Are you singing?
No. I'm not. I'm not unfortunately.

Sounds like you'd like to be?
I gave it a shot. I really did. I laid down some tracks at the beginning and I was almost there, but not quite. So they had somebody come in. But it worked, I think, so that's all that matters.
