  • Elmo gets together to help out...

Yesterday´s episode was full of something that I would like to see in other shows, real drama, something we can relate more realistically and the way people should react in order to help someone in need. We get a new plot for Cash´s character development which will give the show a refresh, Marin lost control of a situation by sharing private information, she had good intentions but still was a private matter, Hate to see the new Patrick but he is right on saying that they should focus more in accepting him now than trying to be somoene he was, Celias will now focus on let him be and be more independant from him, I suffer for Annie as she is holding on a love that might not comeback, Eric and Sarah were really good in this episode as they strugle to be away from each other while they shared the same roof and came out triumphant, Sam and Jane are just genious...Good people feel good helping out and Cash will get to know Elmonians better as he will stay a little longer...moreless
  • Cash's secret is revealed and Marin learns bad news about Jack.

Cash drops in on Marin looking as good as ever. Marin learns that he is having health problems. She climbs onto a roof in order to ferret out his secret. In no time at all, thanks to Marin, all of Elmo knows his secret. Then without consulting him, she advertises a fundraiser for him. Good Golly. I love the relationship between Sarah and Eric. They are so sweet together and she is wonderfully supportive of him. I loved the rock climbing to relieve sexual tension. As for Patrick, I'm getting a little tired of the whole memory loss thing. Patick was a great character the way he was. Now he's going to be a beer drinking, burping, inconsiderate jerk? I'm not feeling it. In the end, Marin learns that Jack's ship has gone down. Even though, we knew it from the last episode, I still reacted. Poor Marin.moreless

Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

  • TRIVIA (2)

    • It is revealed in this episode that Cash's full name is Leonard Cassius Morrissey.

    • When Marin and Cash are arguing behind the makeshift movie screen, their silhouettes can be seen by the people watching the movie. This could not have happened because there was no light source behind Marin and Cash that would cast their shadows onto the screen.

  • QUOTES (9)

    • Jane: I cannot wait to take you shopping for some new clothes in New York.
Sam: Am I going to have to start dressing like Donald Trump?
Jane: Or P. Diddy. It's your choice, The Don or The Diddy.

    • Jane: Don't get mad, but I tried to throw it away.
      Sam: This shirt?
Jane: Several times. The damn thing just won't die.

    • Jane: (to Marin about getting back Sam's favorite shirt) I don't want him to discover what a terrible person I am. We have only been married a few weeks. It's too soon.

    • Marin: What's going on?
Cash: I landed this great roofing gig in town. I was hoping I could crash here for a couple days.
      Marin: Cash.
Cash: I'll even keep my shirt on if you want me to.
      Jane: Oh, that's not necessary.

    • Marin: When Alaska was just a land of trees, tribes created community through barter -- beads for a fur, a canoe for a cow. Trading partners became friends. Friends became family. As far as I can tell, not much has changed up here. We're still giving and receiving in equal trade. When the system is working, both sides come away happy, neither feeling like they've compromised. But rather, getting something better in the deal. In those moments, we are just a community of people -- sharing. Proving every day that it can be just as fulfilling to give as to receive. Sometimes just as hard.

    • Marin: (hears noise in kitchen) Hello?
Cash: Not much in the fridge.
Marin: I'm sorry. You'll have to let me know next time you plan on breaking and entering.
Cash: Just entering. Back door was open.

    • Mai: Who wants a Mai Dud?
Jerome: What is a Mai Dud?
Mai: It's like a Milk Dud only not so chewy and demanding. I made them last night. The first one's free. Second one's gonna cost you.

    • Jane: I'll pass on the vino.
Marin: What? You haven't even tasted it.
Jane: Wine from Alaska? Honey, that's like oysters from Oklahoma.

    • Patrick: (burps) Egg-water burps... not as good.
