Celebration is in order - Men of a Certain Age has been officially renewed for a second season!

Despite a steep ratings decline from the pilot, it has been pretty steady at 3 million viewers. Although that's not terrific, I guess TNT is really enjoying the critical acclaim for the series and is hoping to see some awards in the future!

Really? Ray Romano must have a lot of pull. I have seen much better shows axed. I tend to like the show but its pace is too slow, last night episode was a sleeper.

I'm so happy that "Men Of A Certain Age" is being renewed for a second season!!! It is one of the best shows on tv today. All three of the characters are great and each week they get better. Glad I don't have to say good-bye to them

I agree Llinda - this is a great show - hope it goes for YEARS, like Frazier and Golden Girls. We needed another one like them and now we have it if they just don't take it offline. -- Beth

Reply to PG Superfan - I think Men of a Certain Age is better than the Closer and Leverage - I hope it runs for years and years - it has the ability to do so.

Reply to Haldrey - sounds like you are one of those people who needs a lot of "shoot-em-up-bang-bang" to stay with a show. What a shame for you. Try "slowing down" and enjoying something with a REAL PLOT line and some depth (like Men of a Certain Age). You'll find you like it if you give yourself a chance to see REAL situations depicted in a show and enjoy them instead of craving the high excitement fantasies that mimic the cartoons you used to watch when you were young.

Thank goodness - someone else who wants to see more and MORE of this show - It's great to see a show with some substance and a little reality to it, isn't it? I hope this one goes for years and years.

This is usually how it goes, right?...Critically acclaimed but lacking in audience...Tells you something about mainstream audience, IMHO...Shows like this or even say Damages (Also suffering from ratings issues) simply reflect how they would do better on a cable channel like HBO or Showtime...Middle America prefers Chuck & Heroes type of programming - no need for story, acting or substance

    Very pleased it's back

I'm excited about that!!! I love this show and can't wait to see next season. We need a "man's" show on tv. There's plenty of women's stuff on.

very glad this show is coming back. my gf and i love it. i have no idea what the low tv.com ratings are all about, this show is great fun. maybe it's because the humor is not so obvious and the characters are more believable that I like it so much.
