I'm not going to pretend this show is perfect, its not, but grappling with these kind of ideas for the first time it was never going to be. Despite its weaknesses, I think Men Only is compelling and thoughtful.
Men Only is a well made show with good turns by all but can feel a little rough around the edges at times. On reflection though, this does fit with the character of the programme since it could never withstand a glossy finish and maintain its gritty outlook.
Men Only's controversy may have waned since its first outing but I would still recommend it as an example of TV dealing with tough topics.moreless

TV show from Channel 4 exploring the behaviour of men in all male company. It was controversial even before its release for its depiction of explicit sex, drug-taking and rape.
Jason, Mac, Jamie, Des and Dwight revel in each other's company as an escape from the problems in their lives but their excesses soon lead them into deeper trouble.
