I've been watching Mental since the beginning and was always unsure about how i fell about this show, and i still am.

Sometimes it comes out as a great episode and out of nowhere it gets bad.

I'm not sure if i there will be a second season because i think there are a lot of stuff that has to be improved in this show.

The main character is great, and the actor who plays it is great too.

But the stories are sometimes very weak and filled with holes and nonsense stuff.

If this show gets a second season that is something that have to work on.

Oh and im not really a fan of some cartoonish/fantasy/iluusion thing they do, its too fake.moreless

FILTER BY TYPE

  • TRIVIA (1)

    • Veronica says that Clay has built a full-scale model in his basement. If it were full-scale, it would be life-size, but it is shown as probably 1/16th scale, not full-scale.

  • QUOTES (3)

    • Margot: I love it. (talking about Jack's condo)
      Jack: Uh, it lacks soul.
Margot: Ha ha, no. What it lacks is a woman's touch.

    • Jack: I've got a little problem with you, Clay.
      Clay: Why's that?
Jack: If you don't open up, your whole evaluation is gonna have to be solely based on your actions.
Clay: I'll take what I deserve.
Jack: What you think you deserve. I might have a different opinion. See, mental disease, disorders, phobias, whatever you want to call them-they can be traced back as far as genetics, but they can also be the body's reaction to stress. There's a reason you wanted to hurt yourself and it's got to start somewhere.

    • Veronica: Mr. Jefferson, this is Dr. Gallagher maybe you can tell him why you're here.
Clay: I'm here so that you can put your X in the box next to Post Traumatic Stress and you can feel like you've done your good deed for the day.
      Jack: You have PTSD?
Clay: We all do. Didn't you know? Crazy ex-killers, violent, and unpredictable. Uncle Sam's dirty little secrets. If I had any decency, I would've died over there and become true American heroes instead of dragging our problems to your doorstep.
