  • Veronica has a hearing to decide if she will keep her job in the wake of the Dr. Harris cinder block incident. Chloe lets a big secret slip to Veronica's brother. Sonia and Veronica have big cases. Dr. Harris has a major life changing experience.

A wonderfully emotional and exciting episode of Mercy. I will not give away a lot of anything of true importance. If you haven't seen this show, this is the episode to watch. Truly a great introduction to a show that keeps getting better. This is the winner of the new medical shows for this season. Veronica really does what she does best. She supports the emotional stability of her patients and is there for them while they go through their trauma. Dr. Harris will be a lot more understanding and appreciative in the future I believe. In the case of a lawyer and his wife who were pregnant and in a car accident, Veronica really comes through in securing their piece of mind even though she wasn't even their nurse. She was there when they came in and helped them survive the ordeal. Also her battlefield experience is proving invaluable when treating at risk patients. Proof that experience is the real teacher in most cases.

Sonia is great doing her thing to help a patient with Somnambulism and in the end comes up with a terrific solution to help the patient and herself out. Things with the dectective seem to moving forward as well.

Chloe dropped a big bomb with Veronica's brother and I believe the waves in the water will be reverberating for weeks over this one. She does a ride along with the local Fire Department and is there to try to save the final patient who has a big relationship to the hospital.

Angel Garcia played by Guillermo Díaz continues his solid work as the truly supporting and positive confident of the other characters especially Veronica, Sonia, and Chloe.

Dr. Harris is bound and determined to get Veronica fired for her helping the veteran get into the rehab program. He still doesn't seem to understand her worth as most doctors seemed not to with their nurses. In the end Dr. Harris has a life changing experience that I believe will make him really understand the true worth of people like Veronica at the hospital.

K.K. Moggie who is credited as the doctor so far and has been in two episodes needs to be added as a regular. She adds a nice dynamic to the show and offsets the male doctor's nicely.

Overall the was the best episode of a program that is really starting to hit its stride. I think this show can be on for a long time. One of the things it has going for it is that there are no A list stars on it. Watch out. Give this cast a year and everyone will know their names. Thanks for reading...
