****Please do not post in this thread. This is just for informative purposes****
POSTING RULES - PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING
These rules are based on what best meets the needs and traffic of the forum, were voted on and approved by the forum regulars and are revised on a regular basis.
As it is stated by tv.com: official episode, specific topic, and Q&A threads are allowed at editor's discretion and within reason, and should be created and approved by the editor when possible; Users should be allowed to create threads if no other TOS violation or duplication occurs.
Welcome to Merlin Forum
The aim here is to have fun posting and discussing about the show and its actors/characters. With the purpose of granting everyone a fast way to find information, we have created specific threads for specific topics.
General rules that apply to all the threads are:
-Absolutely no spoilers are to be posted not being in the Spoilers thread.
-Double posting is not allowed. Please use the "edit" function in the drop down menu at the bottom of the post.
-It is strictly forbidden to bash any other thread.
-It is strictly forbidden to bash any actors, characters or the show itself.
Episode discussion belongs in the episode pages at the Episode Discussion Stream where the same forum rules apply.
As you can see, several threads are pinned on top of the page for easy access. They are mainly general information threads, so they are considered to be relevant to almost every user.
This is the thread where you can find the tips necessary to make submissions.
This is the thread to post questions, either about the show and the actors/characters or about general information regarding tv.com. This way, we avoid cluttering the forum with lots of topics that are just opened to ask a question. Please don't start a new thread unless you make sure that there isn't already one where the topic can be posted.
However, please avoid Off Topic questions that will generate a huge discussion: this is not a discussion thread. It is a resource to help people understand the show and the site better.
Before posting your question, please take a look at the first post of the thread. It contains the answers to the most frequently asked questions.
Spoilers Thread----> No longer in use as the show is over
Out of respect for Spoiler free people and in an effort to support their decision and make their navigation around the forum safe, this is the one and only thread where spoilers are allowed to be posted and commented on.
Just in case, once an episode has aired in the UK it is no longer considered a spoiler. It is generally a good idea to avoid the forums until it airs in your country if you are spoiler free.
The first two posts are reserved to keep track of all the spoilers that are posted sorted by episode so it's easier for everyone to find all the information available without having to skim through all the posts.
This is the thread to talk and discuss about all and everything Merlin related.
Rules are follows:
-What is not welcome here? Spoilers
-What is welcome here? All the rest: there is no specific topic to be discussed as long as it is Merlin related. Mild off topic is allowed like introducing yourselves, other than that feel free to post anything dealing with the show. Are you a researcher? Share any piece of news, article or picture. Are you creative? Post your icons, wallpapers, manips or links to fanfiction. Are willing to discuss? Post any idea, suggestion, opinion and so on.
Basically, have fun and share it with us!
The Official Merlin Character Encyclopedia----> No longer pinned but still available for those who might an interesting in contributing
This is the thread where you can find information about the characters and plotlines in the show. A good resource compiled and constantly edited by fans and for fans.
Welcome to "The Rising Sun" tavern! (Off-topic Thread)----> No longer in use as the show is over. Please use the Off Topic Forum instead
This is the only thread where it is allowed, and actually much encouraged, to go off topic. The perfect place to have a drink and share your day with other Merlin fans, to getting to know each other better and to have fun.
Pretty simple on the rules here:
1. Try to keep Merlin talk in the Merlin topics. If talk strays away from Merlin somewhere else on the forum, please bring it here.
2. Please be polite and respectful to other users; opinions are just that, opinions. People's opinions may not always match, so please be aware of this and not force what you feel on others.
3. Other than that, this is just a good place to gather and talk about likes, dislikes, what's going on in your life, etc. Again, please be respectful of what another person likes/dislikes.
