Hi guys, I also have a question ... I was rewatching the trailer here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=juIFy4u19ug and that bit at 0:33 - 0:34 with Uther and a depressed-looking Arthur ... which episode/scene is that from? It looks familiar but I can't quite place my finger on it. Thanks in advance!

We haven't seen that scene, Wonder. I suppose it belongs to 3x06 The Changeling, when Arthur agrees to marry Elena (hence Uther is pleased and Arthur upset) but it didn't make it to the final cut of the episode.

Ahh, OK. I guess that makes sense -- I remember expecting to see it in 'The Changeling' and forgetting about it afterwards. xD Thanks!

Of the actual Pierrefonds castle or of the fictional version?

There are some of Arthur's chambers that I posted a while ago. If you are interested, I'll see if I can dig them

No, that's fine. What room is this? Also are the dining room and council chambers the same?

Council room. The one that is redressed into everything. Then there's the throne room (the really big one where, for example, weddings have been held) and then there's the dining room.

I thought the council room had the table in it? So what room is this?

Council room as well. The table is removed at times

The columns are the bigger giveaway when it's redressed or the furniture is moved around.

BM, what about the room where the cup of life was kept? It looked different to me.

I'd say it was the council room but I'll have to check the episode.

Edit: Just checked, it is the council room indeed

I thought in the show that they are treated as separate rooms and so had different names.

Also are the Throne Room and the Great Hall different? The Great Hall is where they have the banquets?

Well, council room is the way TPTB refer to it, but when it's redressed it stands for different rooms, even totally different places. However, not every time rooms are redressed they stand for different rooms.

The Great Hall is the throne room (no redressing needed, just two ways of calling it, I think Great Hall is the way the room at Pierrefonds is called), but the banquet one is a different room altogether.

Thanks for clearing that up. It is strange that sometimes the council room has the table and then not .

It is. Arthur's bed has been placed against three different walls in his room and his table is moved all the time too. It is pretty random. Morgana's room has changed quite a lot too, he mentions in an audio commentary about a whole section of her room that can be extended to grant more space when a particular scene requires so. Uther's room is not consistent either. I think they've messed up with every set at some point.

I very much enjoyed Merlin. I actually just started watching it last week and have now finished all 3 seasons. Its depressing the seasons are so short and I have to wait 8-9 more months fore the next season to start. I really got sucked in.

What are some similar style shows? Anything like Merlin/Legend of the Seeker. I need something to keep me occupied so I dont stress over the next 8 months in anticipation.
