I very much enjoyed Merlin. I actually just started watching it last week and have now finished all 3 seasons. Its depressing the seasons are so short and I have to wait 8-9 more months fore the next season to start. I really got sucked in.

What are some similar style shows? Anything like Merlin/Legend of the Seeker. I need something to keep me occupied so I dont stress over the next 8 months in anticipation.

Hello Skoad! Welcome to the forum:-)

Merlin is quit addictive...as is Legend of the Seeker. I am a big Seeker fan myself!

Try http://www.syfy.com/riese/ it is close to the same type show with a little twist:-) It is only an online show so it is very short...too short in my opinion.

Yes, sadly, you can view Riese in one sitting...have you already watched the only two seasons of Seeker?

Yeppp. =/ I watched seeker as it aired. Its always saddening watching shows like this, just knowing it all ends far too soon and these type of shows are hard to come by.

Is there a scene where all the six main cast members played a part in not just looking on? I think in Queen of Hearts is the closest when Guinevere was questioned by Uther though Merlin and Morgana were looking on.

The farting scene in Goblin's Gold comes to mind too since all 6 are there but not all have lines either.

In answer to Skoad's question, can i recommend A Knight's Tale.

Ok, it's a film not a tv show but it's very good! It has the jousting, sword fighting, the modern take on the middle ages and the comedy that Merlin has. There's no magic in it but it's certainly very entertaining plus on a shallow note the cast aren't that bad looking Heath Ledger in particular

Has anyone heard if Richard or Emilia are gonna act as judges in Masterchef or have anything to do with the show? Check 2:16 here.

I know that Masterchef catered for the Merlin wrap party last year. I remember how some twitters informed that Richard Wilson had arranged it, but since Shine owns both shows I wonder if some Merlin related event will be a challenge for the contestants.

It does look like Merlin must be involved for them to show the clip. One of the challenges in the latter part of the series is to have the contestants devise a menu for a large group of people on location e.g. Merlin cast and crew. And they are judged on how many orders they receive and the comments of the people eating the food.

I am not familiar for the show but if they have to cater for a large group then it could be another wrap party or something like that. Thanks

Are there deleted scenes for later episodes in season 3?

Not sure if these are the ones that Carmen posted since her links don't work any longer. I came across them so I thought I'd share.
