I'm a little confused about these rewatch threads. Are they about writing our opinion about the episode or about the favorite quotes and goofs? And can they be only discussed within the above time schedule?

Both, but you can choose doing either.

Not really but a time schedule was set so all the rewatches could be fit in during hiatus time.

The relationship between Uther and Morgana has probably gone through the most changes.

1x12- In this episode you see how strong-willed both Uther and Morgana are when it comes to something they strongly believe. Morgana is not afraid to speak her mind and stand-up to Uther. She has watched Uther over the years put many innocent and misunderstood people to death, and is trying to understand his reasons. As observers ourselves, we have seen Morgana's reactions to Thomas Collins (1x01), Cerdan the Druid (1x08 ), and Tom the Blacksmith(1x12). She sees injustice in all the executions and wants to see them end. With the death of Gwen's father by Uther's orders, memories of her own "father's" death come back. Morgana thinks about betraying and having Uther killed, but at the grave site she sees his remorse and changes her mind. Uther sees only the corruption and sorrow that misused magic that can bring. It is obvious that Uther cares for and spoils his "ward", but he will only give her so much freedom to speak out against him. Along with his promise to Gorlois to take care of Morgana, the left over guilt from his affair with Vivien impacts how he interacts with Morgana.

2x11- Morgana has started to realise who she is and that by having magic she is despised by her "guardian" Uther. She is finding it harder to deny what is her reality. All she wants is the freedom to be who she really is. When she stands up and speaks her mind to Uther she is bolder than before. She speaks some of her harshest words to Uther.

3x01/02- Uther spends a year using every resource he has looking for Morgana. When Morgana is found, she arrives back in Camelot a changed person. Gone is the dutiful ward of the King. Morgana is seeking revenge and is a willing ally for Morgause (and Cenred) within Camelot. Even though Uther's nightmares and madness were brought on by the mandrake root, deep within himself he must have battled guilt on other occasions. His inner state of mind is in a precarious state and the later events of 3x12/13 push him over the edge.

3x05- With Morgana unconscious from Merlin's attempt to stop her from killing Uther, Uther opens up to Gaius and reveals why he cares so deeply for and dotes on Morgana, his daughter. To prevent Morgana from dying, he even gives Gaius permission to use magic. Morgana overhears Uther's revelation while unconscious and after being healed by Merlin, she attempts to see if Uther would recognize her publicly as a "daughter". When he won't acknowledge her, Morgana's bitterness increases. Morgana now realises she has a claim to the throne of Camelot.

4x03- Still striving to have the throne of Camelot for herself, Morgana makes sure that Uther will die with a magic pendant that reverses any attempt at healing magic. When Agravaine arrives at her hovel to tell her the news of Uther's death, he is surprised at her reaction. For all the years she grew up in Camelot, all that she went through as Uther's ward and daughter, Morgana was so connected to her father that she felt his pain as he died. Even with Uther's death she realises her path to throne of Camelot is blocked by Arthur.

    QUOTES:

2x11 - UTHER: You will go to your chambers!

MORGANA: And you, Uther, you will go to hell.

    Possible Goof:

How does the Gleeman know Uther is coming up behind him (7:52 time stamp)? He suddenly ducks (7:54 time stamp) to avoid Uther's attack.

I wonder if Morgana feeling Uther's pain when he died was symbolic for the fact that by killing him, she only hurt herself.

In case there was a real bond and the ability to feel what a person so close is feeling, she also should have "known" about other emotions when he was still alive. Aside from the fact that sometimes people feel when a loved one is hurt or died, even when miles away, her emotional bond with Uther that caused her pain when he died could be because of her magical powers and her clairvoyant abilities. She seems to have empathetic abilities, and if so, it makes her hatred even more incomprehensible. I assume she could feel what reasons Uther had and what he was going through, especially after her betrayal. She should have felt his love towards her too and in the end, his desperation. If that's the case, she either ignored it and enjoyed his misery or she shut down all possible positive feelings for him in order to execute her evil plans.

I'd like to add that after the event at Gorlois' grave, Uther softened towards her a lot whereas she grew even more disapproved of him in the following episodes, obviously totally ignoring what he had told her about his regrets and also ignoring his efforts to improve his father/daughter - ward/guardian relationship with her.

Other important epsiodes that showed the changes and the realationship between Morgana and Uther were The Beginning of the End in which Uther grabbed her throat and threatened her to never cross him again, and The Nightmare Begins in which Uther told Gaius that if Morgana died, a big part of him would die with her.
