Isn't there a bit in 3x09 (?) when Merlin makes some comment about the dungeons being so secure? Only he says it with a slight smile on his face! That bit always cracks me uo!

This week's topic is Best and Worst Ally/Alliance made, as in two (or more) people working towards the same goal. Arthur/Merlin doesn't count

Best for me, it's hands down, the epic bromance of Merlin / Gwaine going to the perilous lands to save Arthur in 3x08 Eye of the phoenix!

    How I'll miss them!

Worse for me, Morgana and the Aggravating Agravaine, their ambiguous interactions bothered me a bit and no explanation was given for why they shared a common purpose.

I like Merlin and Gwen working together. They haven't had much chance to do so but the very few times that they've joined efforts has been nice to watch

As for the worst I'm going with Morgana/Alvarr. It was pretty much out of knowhere trust.

I liked Morgana/Morgause alliance, because they were indeed like two witches, it was funny, but it was affectionate too

This week's topic is Best and Worst Merlin's Excuse

I quite liked the one with him spending nights at the tavern gambling and drinking

Gaius' tendency to use the "he is at the tavern" excuse despite Merlin told him not to do so was quite funny and it brought Merlin no small deal of trouble, so I guess that computes as the worst.

Merlin's "I'm a swan" was quite something, I liked that, it was very original if anything

However as best I'll go for the Merlin teaching Arthur poetry, that was just a hilarious scene

The poetry excuse, is my favourite! Just the way Merlin said it and how they all reacted was frankly hilarious!

Gaius saying about Grunhilda "she likes the more distinguished gentlemen"

And of course they spend all their time at the tavern, where else would they go!?

The worst has to be "I'm listening for woodworm"

Carmen has pm-ed me and asked to be removed from the list, so as per January 2013 the turns go as follows:

    -boom-moo (Esther)

    -dpebbleson (Danko)

    -ACDiNosey (Anne-Claire)

    -illegalferret (Sarah)

    -pcdsa (Trish)

    -legend-dreamer

    -fantasyfreak77 (Oz)

    -ForeverArwen94

    -LizzyGlue (Carmen)

AC and Sarah haven't posted the last two weeks but I believe that Oz will do next Saturday.

    __________________________

My question to the remaining participants is: should we carry on with the game (after Oz posts, of course) or is it time to close it?

Well, I didn't post because I felt that there wasn't enough people around to get a conversation going. I'm happy to continue if people wish to (although we may have to "recycle" topics, especially as the series has now drawn to a close) but I'm equally happy if we decide to close the thread.

I forgot to post But i've never been that good at remembering in this thread! I think it's probably for the best if this thread comes to an end as i think i've covered pretty much every topic and as there are no new episodes I'm highly unlikely to think of a new topic!

I've been horrible about posting here (and about remembering my turn without people reminding me), so I'm with Sarah. If we do continue, I'd be happy to post the next topic, but then I think I'd like to be crossed off the list.

Thank you everyone for the feedback, I'm of a mind to close it as well for the same reasons you pointed out.

Oz, you can do as you wish. Let me know what your decision is so that I lock the game or wait on you. Thanks

You can go ahead and close it, BM. I have no idea what topic I'd pick. *hugs*
