This week's category is Best Merlin Location. This website is very good: http://merlinlocations.com/

After Pierrefonds, my favourite is Raglan Castle as the setting for the Isle of the Blessed with Nimeuh's altar in 1.13. The ruins represented the ruins of the Old Religion but Nimueh was still trying to salvage something back.

After Pierrefonds, I like the rocky beach where Arthur's final test takes place in ""(Dunraven Bay in Wales). I really ads something to the scene and the whole story that I fail to convey with words.

Special mention to the Council Chamber that gets redressed into pretty much anything and it looks absolutely great every time.

The "" is supposed to mean "The Labyrinth of Gedref", I just noticed that my entry came out wrong after you quoted it.

I like the entrance to the cave in The Last Dragonlord. With the river running through in front of it. No idea where that was filmed though!

Can we do a worst three??? Or maybe worst one??? I'm sure you all know who that will be!!!

Yes you can! I like when discussions extend beyond the main topic actually.

Indeed I forgot about the Dragon - which would place him before Guinevere.
