    Yes it is a crystal. I also have "The Reborn Dragon".

    Wow, these are some really nice figurines! : ) I've got to buy a dragon one day, it's just that they are very rare in toy stores. I went recently to one and they had "Robin Hood" toys, which means that in some future they might have "Merlin" related ones.

    The Dragons are part of the "Tudor Mint Myth and Magic" collection which was on sale in jewellery stores in the UK long time back.


    The book looks fantastic. Brilliant foreward: An Introduction to Dragonology - "Of all the natural sciences dragonology is perhaps the most rewarding, being at the same time one of the oldest and least reseearched." I studied the wrong science!!! I am going to buy that book - get my science education up to scratch!!!


    Not sure about The Great Dragon figurine - is it made out of plastic?

    Brilliant figurines! And they have 'Lord of the Rings' ones!! Whoa!

    And yeah, "Hobbit" is due in 2012 I think, when we'll see another famous dragon!!
