Anyone in their right senses would beg a dragon to save Arthur's life, even warlocks despite said dragon has attempted to kill their mother.

    Lmao!

(I just remember how my professor at the first year used to pronounce 'Dragon', it was entirely like cutting wood, somewhat like Scottish accent - Draaggon )
Sounds like the Spanish pronunciation of it. Drrraggon. How do you say "Dragon" in Serbian?

Gaius is not keen on damp weather.

In Serbian it's a bit differentiated. Dragon is called Zmaj (read Zmay, without pronouncing 'a' as in "cat", but a as in "hard" e.g.). But this Zmaj is a benevolent creature that fights Azhdaja (pronounced again, Azhdaya with all 'a' letter pronounced as in 'hard") which is a malevolent creature that destroys the crops, brings bad weather. So we've got this kind-of Oriental or Chinese Dragon who is good and protects people, and the evil Azhdaja (or Ala; or in Finnish, Ajattara), which is like an ugly, demonic dragon.

Also, if someone read Wheel of Time series, there Dragon is human like. Here it can also be the case. It can be a mythical flying lizzard creature, but it can be also a "Dragon-like hero" who fights with Azhdaja by going to sleep and letting his soul ascend to the heavens where the battle is fought.

How is Spanish for dragon? In Latin it's I think draco.

Whoa, you've got quite a collection of dragons! I like the sound of those words especially Zmaj, very mystical to me

Spanish for 'dragon' is dragón, stressed in the last syllable.

I think Merlin says "draca" when he makes the dragon out of fire sparks in 1x10.

Uther's love for Arthur is strong. It is only him who carries Arthur across the courtyard but four guards are needed to carry him to his room.

For all of his magical skills Merlin is very clumsy when hunting.

Uther's advice on how to deal with magical creatures = Send Arthur to kill them.

Merlin is never going to change so that Arthur won't get bored.

If bitten by a questing beast, a physician is no good. Instead, you need a warlock, then a dragon, then a high priestess from the Old Religion and finally water from the Cup of Life.

I actually love cider, but it looks like it has the same effect on me that it has on Merlin One wiff of a barmaids apron and you're singing like a sailor!

I knew you would get the cider joke .

Merlin is happy to be Arthur's servant until the day he dies ... but definitely not in the next life...

    Precisely

Gaius had been to the Island of the Blessed before to ask for Nimueh's help giving Uther an heir.
