Do you think this is where Merlin sleeps to be close to Arthur, like Gwen with Morgana?

    ----

It takes a jealous Merlin to physically fight with his rival - for the affections of Arthur.

Should be, but Merlin comes in using the main door that leads to a hallway and not to any outer room or something. I believe Arthur might have an anteroom behind those columns he has in his room, but Merlin doesn't use that way. I'm actually rambling about it in my commnet for the episode

Gwen has nice new pretty dresses

The Castle of Camelot is new every day, chambers, rooms and antechambers, beds and tables and servants change and exchange places continually.

Gaius is pretty much double-faced, and has mastered subversion better than any.

While Uther is king, no sorcerer will ever bring down Camelot... Too bad he doesn't know that its fate rests upon the shoulders of one
