Awesome! There is so much great fan made stuff out there. There are some brilliant drawings and things of Merlin and Arthur in the future. Here, here, here, here. There's lots of it. There's so many creative fans. I love it.

That's really good. If I hadn't seen the original picture and didn't know it was a manip I'd have probably believed that it was a genuine picture, maybe from behind the scenes or something. It's really great.

This interview is basically an insult to those who have seen Series 5. Come on what on earth is this?

HC: Word came in late November that Season 5 would be "Merlin's" last. Did you know in advance the series was drawing to a close?

KM: The producers had a five-year plan. They always had plotted out the story lines for five series and the character arcs so we knew a good bit before everyone else [that the end was coming], and we feel very lucky to tell the story properly as it was intended.

This answer seems to be avoiding the question and should probably say 'it was a five year plan - but really the producers wanted more so tried to extend the story but we were fed up already so they had to end it in a rush. So yeah, we knew it was ending because we were the ones who caused it to end'

I really need a proper interview where instead of teasing Series 5 for international viewers we actually learn about what their thoughts are about the ending now we've seen it. At least we know an Arthur spin off/reincarnation with Bradley is very, very, very unlikely:

HC: Bradley, there have been rumors about an Arthur spinoff. Is that something you'd be interested in?

BJ: It was something discussed, but I think it's time for me to hang up the chain mail, to be honest with you, and pass the mantle on to the next person who shall take on the throne of Arthur Pendragon. The post-"Merlin" era is an exciting time to look forward to…. Variety is the spice of life. That's the fantastic thing about acting is all the different challenges it can provide you with. To limit yourself just to one would be foolish, therefore I'm looking forward to different things that come my way.

I guess they are at liberty to voice up their thoughts on it but even if they didn't like it or didn't agree with some of TPTB's decisions I doubt that they'll bite the hand that's been feeding them and putting them on the spot for five years so I think that they'll keep that for themselves. However light they tread, showing disagreement might not be the most sensible thing to do if they want to keep getting steady work on the media as it could come off as ingratitude.

Good point there...... still - it doesn't mean that I don't want to know if the cast liked the ending

Also… #MerlinRewatch anyone? (Twitter) - I think the Merlin promotion team just got back into the office I wonder how many will watch on BBC3 this Saturday...

It seems that Frank Sinner, who presents Room 101 (a BBC1 comedy show) watches Merlin and talks about what his friends thought when he mentioned it in a discussion where they asked him if he watched Homeland... (from the Graham Norton Show)

Alright, I rewatched few episodes of the fifth season but I still didn't find the answer to my question. Do we know why Aithusa saved Morgana in the last episode of season 4? Did they explain her motives behind that? I was just a little curious because I don't recall that situation being addressed in series 5 yet, it was a big cliffhanger.

We don't know, it's never been addressed. Sadly, there's just too much that we don't know about Aithusa.

I saw the episode of Graham Norton as it aired! It made me laugh when he said he tired to use references of Merlin instead of Homeland!

I really hope that the trilogy thing happens even if it's only in a few years because I feel like we have been left with too many questions unanswered.
