I heard of it way after it started airing here, I can't remember how, maybe someone in some other forum mentioned about it or something. I've always loved anything Medieval so I knew I had to give it a go. I used your very same "various Internet channels" 5 minutes into the first episode and boom! I was hooked

I like it too for being medieval. But I also like that it is a family programme. I've always liked those Canadian family series like The Road to Avonley or The Wind at my Back (which unfortunately I can't seem to find anywhere) which depict the drama of ordinary human beings, love, friendship, sacrifice. And I like everything connected to magic - just this afternoon I found a Magic Book on Sorcery! Too bad it's a bit expensive, but I'm gonna buy, even if it is a bit juvenile. I can't help being juvenile to a degree, and will probably stay such till the end of my life: but I can't help myself being obsessed with all those runes, incantantions, dragons, mysteries, transformations...

Speaking of Canadian family stuff I love Anne of Green Gables!

Never ever let the kid in you go! Life would be so boring otherwise. Do you know about the Merlin books on magic and spells? There are a few around.

I didn't know about them, but would be interesting to have them... And I'd still like a Dragon toy! And people can say I'm crazy for collecting trivia from a TV show, but for me it's no more trivial than collecting antiquities. Nothing against the latter activity, of course, it's just that it's not my thing

There's just a minor problem. I still can't order via Amazon easily, as my country is yet to enter PayPal system and all accompanying things. But I could try, I heard they do send books and discs to Serbia - maybe they'll send one wicked Dragon!

Edit: I just remembered. A friend of mine also collects beer mats

Aww, that's too bad I saved a link to another online book selling website the other day. I'll try to find it.

So you can't use eBay either?

I don't think so. Though I never tried, really. But with Dragon I am tempted

Yay!! It is in fact the weekend in my mind too! It began at 6pm when i walked through the front door after a much better day!! What better way to spend a friday evening than in a pub?!!

I am 1 hour behind you guys here in England, but as Boom mentioned i have the major plus side of watching Merlin as it airs! The city i live in by the is Winchester, a pretty tiny city, but we do have The Round Table hanging up in the City's Great Hall!! Ok its from the 13th century so not the real thing but its still pretty impressive!

Hey Sarah Very glad to hear you had a way better day today.

Omg, Winchester? I have seen pictures of the table and it is all kinds of amazing! With all the pretty old names of the knights and all. Lucky girl!

I've seen it and it's HUGE!!! It's really cool and the greatest thing is that you can just pop in and see it whenever you like during the day as its free to visit. When i first went to take a look i was stunned by the sheer size of it! I'm hoping the cast and crew might pop by and take a look at it one day

Aww that would be good! Though what's left of the castle ain't a patch on the one they use! If they do and they need places to stay the night i'm sure i could fit Bradley and Colin into my tiny room

Lmfao, I bet you'd do a great job at it. And that'd be the day I die of envy!

Well, Raglan Castle and many other filming locations do hardly have a whole wall standing up but the director of Photograpy, the CGI people and whatnot are really good at recreating terrific scenarios so don't lose hope!

Hello! I'm just stopping by at our pub, on my way to a very very boring night. I haven't been able to comment on anything whole day, as I've been out all day.

So, all the best everyone, hopefully we'll hear each other tomorrow at the next re-watch, to which I am looking forward to.
