- This is the third time that the cast from Merlin make their contribution to BBC's Children in Need appeal. They also helped fundraising money for the charity in 2008 and 2009.
  
  Unlike in Merlin In Need 2008 and Merlin In Need 2009, the appeal doesn't consist of a Merlin based specially-written short clip but a personal request from some cast members along with a series of bloopers from the show.
