The scene where Lady Helen performs her song was filmed in a real Medieval hall within an English stately home. It was partially redressed because it didn't have the big chandeliers and other props. Some seventy three set ups were filmed in there, and they usually manage to shoot some twenty five a day. However, it took longer in this case because the same shots needed to be filmed with different paces, motion control was required in the tracking shots, the candles had to be taken out and the mats and the windows rebuilt. It took a whole week to get everything right.
