Dethklok is asked to host the American Pornography Awards, but Nathan's new controlling girlfriend puts a damper on the situation for the entire band.

  • I laughed, I cried, I wet my pants!

    A fine episode!! This one had me laughing out loud like 5 times, which is amazing for an 11 minute show! Still, you have to feel kind of bad for poor Nathan Explosion this time. In just one episode his girlfriend terrorizes him mercilessly to no end and reduces him to a sniveling little boy in a pink polo shirt, his bandmates beat him over the head with a baseball bat, tie him up, torture him with various painful instruments, and make him literally cry like a baby, with tears falling out his eyes and everything! Actually it was pretty funny! All ends on a happy note though as we get to witness his cruel girlfriend get what's coming to her, which is falling down several flights of hard solid rock stairs and landing herself in a coma. Basically I guess you have to be a tiny bit of a sadist to enjoy this episode, like all others in the series so far, but aren't we all just a little bit sadistic? This one reminds us in very clever and entertaining ways that it's always funny when it happens to someone else. And on a side note, saying it was out of Nathan Explosion's character to essentially be portrayed as the "b*tch" in a relationship is dumb because we never saw how he acted in a relationship prior to this episode. Maybe he's always been the type of guy who comes off as all hardcore on the surface but when it comes to the ladies he just tends to get smacked around. There are millions of guys out there who are like that. I personally think it adds more facets to his character and makes it even funnier to watch.moreless

    This episode was indeed one of the best. Nathan gets a girlfriend which results in a bunch of female fans losing their will to live and commiting suicide. Also, the band gets invited to the United States Pornography Awards. But, they can't go without Nathan which results in the best scene in the entire episode. They torture him. Shows how metal they are willing to go to. Especially if it means risking killing one of their bandmates in a horribly brutal fashion such as throwing a lit cigarette butt at him, tasering him, and beating him up. Oh, and threating him to shoot his crotch with a crossbow.moreless

    I thought this episode was fantastic, even though a lot of people think it's out of character for Nathan Explosion to get whupped. But really I thought it allowed the creators to show the unity and brotherhood of the band, and how much they care for each other. And as usual, Toki pretty much is the greatest thing about the band, with his innocent outburst when he learns that Dethklok is hosting the United States Pornography Awards: "I just wants to make out with thems beautiful girls!"moreless

    I love Metalocalypse but this one really stunk. They could have gone in so many different, and more entertaining, directions with this one. Not even a good song in this episode. The ending I was hoping for was Nathan finaly getting tired of his girlfriend and performing a brutal breakup song. That would have been a lot better than the seemingly random "oops!, She fell down 5 flights of stairs"

    ending.

    Very funny. A very good episode, but could do better. I\'d give this episode a thumbs down. Nathan\'s girlfriend was too demannding and the storyline stunk. If they had her wake up to the sound of Nathan telling her that he himself was also going to the pornography awards with the band, then it would be better. The scene where nathan gets tortured was probably one of the funniest scenes. In general, the episode was funny, but the storyline should have been thrown down the toilet never to return. If I did this episode, it wouldn\'t have Rebecca falling down the stairs, Nathan should have killed her or something.moreless
