Trivia

FILTER BY TYPE

  • Trivia

    • In the previous episode, Elliot was wearing his normal black shirt, red collar, and white pants look. And he still has the look when he reappears in this episode, however. When Kikki is making her chibi deduction, chibi Elliot is wearing purple pants and a white shirt with green sleeves. Originally, when Elliot reappeared in this episode, he had the new look, not the normal one in the parking lot.

  • Quotes

    • Tarb: (to Dren) Are you loosing AGAIN?
      Sardon: Do you need assistance?
      Dren: ...maybe

    • Bridget: Elliot, you would tell us if you were this Blue Knight, wouldn't you?
Elliot: I would if I was, but I'm not, so I won't. Why would I be?
      (Kikki starts to cry)
Kikki: I had a whole theory worked out. There's gonna be giant crabs on everything!
Corina: It's nothing to cry about, Kikki.
Bridget: It was a fine theory, Kikki. It just, ya know, was wrong.
Elliot: Yeah, so turn her off before we open. Her wailing will frighten the customers.

    • (Mew Renee has just saved Mew Corina from an attack)

Mew Corina: Renee! I thought you were on a photo shoot in Belize!

Mew Renee: A giant carrot attacked me at the airport. My agent is going to have a really hard time explaining THAT to the tabloids!

    • (Mew Bridget and Mew Kiki are getting rushed at by Predasite radishes)

Mew Kikki: All right! Conference time! You have a plan?

Mew Bridget: Are superheroes allowed to run away?

(The radishes advance and the girls run away)

Mew Kikki: (screaming) I WON'T TELL IF YOU WON'T!!

    • Elliot: (refers to Kikki) Turn her off before we open the cafe, she might scare the customers off.

  • Notes

    • Episode centers around Zoey.

    • Japanese Airdate: August 3, 2002

    • The alien scene is heavily cut, taking out a lot of the dialogue between Pie and Kishu and completely taking out Tart's lines. 35 seconds were cut from this scene.

    • The dub adds a flashback to the first episode where Elliott tells Zoey that she's heavier than she looks.

    • The episodes are synched for a bit, then they start scene moving again:
      Original
      Blue Knight fighting Kishu
Ichigo thinking about the Blue Knight
      More Blue Knight/Kishu fighting
      Ichigo thinking more
      Ichigo wakes up

      Dub
      Blue Knight fighting Kishu
      More Blue Knight/Kishu fighting
Ichigo thinking about the Blue Knight
      Ichigo thinking more
      Ichigo wakes up

Also, instead of panning up the tree, the dub shows more of the tree rotating.

    • This is probably the most random alteration ever. 4Kids decided to paint over Ryou's clothes so that instead of his white/green shirt and purple pants, he was wearing the normal black shirt and white pants.
But it doesn't make sense because later in the episode when Kiki is saying that the Blue Knigt is Elliott, he's wearing the white/green shirt and purple pants in her chibi diagram

    • The dub moved the scenes during the fight around. Details:
      Original
      Mint fighting Pie, Zakuro appears
Blue Knight preparing to fight Kishu
Zakuro defeats fish, goes to find others with Mint
      Blue Knight fighting Kishu
      Lettuce and Pudding fighting Tart
      Lettuce and Pudding running
      Group meets up

      Dub
      Lettuce and Pudding fighting Tart
      Mint fighting Pie, Zakuro appears
Zakuro defeats fish, goes to find others with Mint
Blue Knight preparing to fight Kishu
      Blue Knight fighting Kishu
      Lettuce and Pudding running
      Group meets up

    • 4Kids Retained 80% From The Original Japanese Episode.

    • Part 2 of a 2-Part episode.

  • Allusions

    • The title, "My Knight in Blue Armor" is a take on the famous expression, "My knight in shining armor".

    • Kikki (Pudding) and Bridget (Lettuce) are cosplaying as Sherlock Holmes and Dr. John Watson, respectively. These characters created by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's for his Sherlock Holmes mystery novels.
