Crockett and Tubbs are in the middle of a drug dealer when "DEA" officers raid the place, take the drugs and money and rush out.
We learn that Montoya is behind it, with an insider. The police department correctly suspects that someone in the DEA division has to be involved, since they seemed to have the proper equipment.
What they don't see is the mole, Linda Colby, played with the usual brilliance of Elizabeth Ashley.
Colby hates what she's doing, but her life is in shambles. You feel for her, as she has a paralized husband and a kid on dialysis waiting for a transplant they can't afford.
The sad end at least catches Montoya, but when Linda rings true with her plea to Sonny that he'd protect his kid the same way, all he can do is read her her rights.moreless
