In the scene immediately following the opening credits, we see the detectives in the office. Michael Talbott messes up his line, clearly calling Rico "Sonny". His exact words are: "Hey Sonny, I hear you had a close encounter of the weird kind!

It's revealed Reese and Castillo have a history at The Company.

Rico's beard comes and goes. In his first appearance he has it. In the next scene, the beard is gone. The quick disappearance is covered up by Switek, commenting, "you look better without a beard."

Towards the end of the episode, Kathleen rushes over to Crockett, who is laying on the shore of a river, having just defeated one of the convicts. This scene is supposed to be taking place out in the wilderness, away from the city, but as Kathleen runs to help Crockett, several large hotels and office buildings are visible in the background.
