When the Ferrari is hit by the missile, there's no sign of the missile or its exhaust trail in the frame - the car just explodes.
The Season 3 premiere episode shows a different opening logo in which the hot pink splash behind the logo is now replaced with a cool blue splash. This remains for the rest of the series.
The German episode title is "Liebe und Tod", meaning "Love and Death".
It is the end of an era as Sonny's Ferrari Daytona bites the dust, blown to bits by Jeff Fahey's character. The reasoning behind it was simple: Ferrari offered the show use of several Testerosas in exchange for a credit on the show. It served Ferrari well since Sonny's Daytona was a fake. It was actually a Corvette modified by a kit.
Music: John Lennon's "Imagine."
Jeff Fahey starred in the short-lived 90s series The Marshal, a show executive produced by Don Johnson.
There was talk of a two-hour episode in which Crockett and Tubbs would go to Ireland, but that idea was eventually scrapped.
