"Gary, you wag!"
"See You In The Monkey House Australia!"
Pete: Guests choose to stay at Sydney's fabulous Rockmans Regency Hotel, but are forced by us to stay at the East Gippsland Hotel Motel. Giving new meaning to the term - cockroach infested fire-trap.
Pete: Ugly? Why not attempt to conceal it with Vanda's range of cosmetics? Vanda! For when your hideous!
"Bridie Carter is only 29 and has achieved more in that short time than someone three times her age who has achieved significantly less."
"Many of you would know my first guest Gary Sweet. Some of you might even Know him. A smaller percentage of you may even Be him. We are talking fractions and percentages here.."
"If your like me, it's possible your a clone generated from my stolen DNA. I suggest you turn yourself in for destruction immediately"
Shaun: Did you have a good weekend?
Audience: (in complete unison) No, had a bit of a hangover Sunday, you?
Shaun: Pretty good...
"Although if you are tuning in for the first time, may I say Good Evening and Welcome to Television!"
"Has success changed Shaun Micallef? I don't think so, I'm pretty much still the same loveable boy next door who won your hearts a week ago and you've been seeing incessantly on ads ever since"
"Well, like an understocked herb salesman, we've run out of oregano... sorry, time!"
Gerard Depardieu appeared for all of several seconds, being a guest in the first (and last) of the show's commercial break interviews.
Shaun had Bridie Carter hold a giant blow-up fish while he stood on the desk and did a bizarre dance, just so Channel Nine had something wacky for the following week's promos. Predictably, it made into an ad for the show a few days later.
Livinia Nixon does not appear in this episode.
Scannich means Pastie in Ukranian.
Bridie's favourite actors are Meryl Streep and Judy Davis.
Pig Rooting??
Bridie Carter lied to get her role on McLeods Daughters saying she could ride a horse, when she couldn't.
Mcleod's Daughters airs Wednesday nights.
Gary Sweet stars in Alexandra's Project as a beer-drinking, insensitive bloke with an eye for the ladies, and is screening in the few remaining cinemas not showing The Matrix. He's also in Stingers which airs Tuesday nights.
Arch-bishop Peter Hollingworth joins the Channel 9 Nine tonight.
Audience Participa-Shaun: Bobbing For Apples
A Crean Labour Government?
Micallef's second week saw the show maintain it's impressive opening night, to come in 49th on the national list with 1.19 million viewers, which included 440,524 in Melbourne.
