Only Fools and Horses' David Jason and John Sullivan bring Charles Dickens' Wilkins Micawber to life in this short lived series first shown on ITV1. The four part period comedy-drama series ran from late 2001 to early 2002 and featured David Jason as Micawber as he went from job to job, trying to make ends meet for his family while avoiding those he owed money to. The series featured a wealth of British acting talent, from Annabelle Apsion as Micawber's long suffering wife Emma, to Mark Benton as Ezra Chesney and Allo Allo's Sam Kelly as Mr Cudlipp the grocer.moreless
