  • Tom takes a brief holiday in order to paint his house. At the same time, his elderly Aunt Alice is recuperating in a local retirement village after an operation where several deaths occur.

Joyce (Jane Wymark) and Tom decide to paint the interior of their house, so Tom takes a weeks holiday in order to get the job done. At the same time, he is able to visit his beloved Aunt Alice (Phyllis Calvert), an elderly lady who has recently had an operation and has come to stay at a local nursing home for a short while in order to regain her health and vitality.

Tom enjoys his visits with his aunt until residents of the home start dying. Aunt Alice is convinced that the people in question are being murdered but Tom and the authorities at the home are in agreement that the deaths are due to old age and accident. Aunt Alice is quite affronted at not being believed, particularly when other residents agree with her theory that there is a killer on the loose. When she tells Tom that she heard strange noises in the corridor and people creeping about, he investigates further, mainly to placate her but is she right? Is there a dangerous killer taking the lives of defenseless elderly residents or are the deaths accidental after all?

    Watch and find out!
