      ADD TRIVIA
      • The Soulless Ones seem indestructible, and Virgil implies as much, but while Norman does try to kick, punch and push them around {with limited success}, he never tries to use his sword on them. It makes perfect sense that the undead won't be bothered by bruises and brain concussions, but there's really no reason to assume their flesh would be stone-hard, and something missing its legs is much easier to escape - so why not just cut them in half?

      • Each Soulless One is a match for Norman's strength, yet at the end, Max pushes them around as easily as Norman does, as if they were straw men.

      • How can Max talk, when he's being actively choked by something as strong as the Soulless One? His voice isn't even changing when he talks while throttled!

    • QUOTES (3)

      ADD QUOTES
      • Max: Forget the prophecy already, Virgil! What will be - will be! Virgil: But, you see, - I don't want you to die...

      • Max: Besides, how do you even know that's my destiny? Virgil: Because I know almost everything. Max: Oh yeah? Ok, who was the king of England in 1298? Virgil: Edward the Second. Max: Well, how many people are living right now in... Calcutta? Virgil: Sixty seven million, nine hundred eighty two thousand, seven hundred and thirty two... ugh, thirty three, sorry. Max: Ok, well, ugh... how many fingers am I holding up behind my back? Virgil: Three. Max: Whoa! Well, yeah... well it doesn't matter anyway!

      • Max: I beg your pardon! Uh, is that any way to speak to the guy who just last week, I believe it was, saved the world from certain doom at the hands of Skullmaster? Bea: I'm sorry, I thought I was speaking to the guy who just last week spent two hours in the Principal's office for mooning the teachers' lounge.

      ADD NOTES
      • Virgil's means of summoning: Messenger arrives with a letter from Virgil. The message was "Max, you are in grave danger. You are being hunted by minions under Skull Master's power. They emerge from the ocean, and you will know them by their barnacle appearance and their ability to track the cap wherever it is. P.S. – There is a portal in the taco stand directly behind you."
