Episode Summary

Carl and Mike decide to double date when Carl gets jealous of the time Mike is spending with Molly.

Who was the Episode MVP ?

  • The vacuum cleaner ain't going to give me no grandbabies.

Before I summarize this episode I have to say that, while everyone was very funny, Carl's Grandma stole the show, like the review below me said.

After Molly stops by the diner to have lunch with Mike and Carl, Mike realizes that Carl is jealous of his new relationship, so he desides to try and find a girl for Carl. He soon realizes that Molly's sister, Victoria would be perfect for him. So Mike and Molly double date with Carl and Victoria.

This wasn't my favorite episode, and if it weren't for Carl's grandma I probly would have rated it a 6 ot 7, but it's an episode of Mike & Molly so I love it anyways!moreless
  • Grandma steals the show.

Well, the show is finally coming into its own. I just love the exchanges between Mike and Carl in every episode, so an episode centering around Carl being jealous is already a winner in my book.

Meanwhile, Carl's grandma managed to steal the show once again. Her comments were extremely hilarious - I kept laughing without a stop during that scene with her - the comments with vacuum especially.

Rounding up the comedy was Molly's stoned sister Victoria, who is always a winner, no matter what scene she's in. Obviously, since grandma got all the good lines, Joyce was put in the background for the episode, but it didn't bother me.

The ending was also great with Mike rushing to have sex and then Joyce knocking him out. The show is still keeping me hooked.moreless

  • QUOTES (6)

    • Mike: I'm on my way over to Molly's to take her and her sister out for a drink and I thought you might want to join us.
Carl: I don't know, it's kinda last minute.
Grandma: Kinda last minute? This man is offering you chance at a real life woman. You best be putting on clean drawers and pray she ain't picky.
Carl: I got this grandma - I'm a grown man and this is my life.
Grandma: Well, you better hurry better and start living it 'cuz the vacuum cleaner ain't going to give me no grandbabies.

    • Gradma: Can I get you some ice tea, maybe something harder? If you don't drink on Saturday night you've got nothing to talk to Jesus about on Sunday morning.

    • Carl: (to Mike) Wipe your feet, we just vacuumed the rug.
Grandma: Oh we did? Boy ain't touched the vacuum cleaner since he was 13 years old, and I ain't gonna tell you what he was doing with it.

    • Carl: (to Mike) How can you not remember that day? We had seven inches of snow, you slipped on the ice and almost flattened a small dog.

    • Carl: Hang on a second - you're drinking tea now?
      Mike: Oolong. It's an antioxidant.
      Carl: What's that?
Mike: I assume it's something that is against oxidants. It also tastes like a cup of hot ass.
Carl: Wow, this woman is giving you a complete makeover, isn't she?
Mike: What are you talking about?
Carl: Going to the symphony, drinking tea - next thing you know you'll be carrying your purse asking permission to visit your balls on the weekend.

    • Mike: I'm trying to broaden my horizons so Molly took me to the symphony last night.
Carl: Wait a second, you went to the symphony?
Mike: Yeah, it was lovely. Very classy, very elegant.
      Carl: So you fell asleep?
Mike: Almost immediately. I did fart myself awake a couple of times, but for the most part - out like a light.
