    I believe they mentioned it a couple of times during the show's original run: she was a transfer student from Manhattan. Now the question is who from the island was sent to Manhattan in her place.

    I've been thinking about that as well. If the series had went on longer we probably would have gotten an an answer.

    Yeah, too bad the series was cancelled (or did it end?) Well anyway, it would have been fun to see what was happening in Manhattan while Mike was on the island

    I think it may have been cancelled. And I agree, it would have been really cool to see that. It's such a shame that it got cancelled. I love this show a lot and I miss it like crazy.

    I thought it was cancelled, and yeah, it is a shame. Apparantely every good show they make these days gets cancelled sooner or later, without really having time to make a decent finale episode
