It's Christmas time. A time for family, gifts, and angels. That's what this episode is all about.
This episode has some great character moments, especially for Frank. We get to learn more about his life, see his struggles as a father separated from his family, his (and Catherine's) concerns for Jordan as her gift grows stronger.
The highlight of the story is his relationship to his father. Ever since his mother's death, he has not forgiven him for the fact that he wasn't there for her, at her side in the final moments of her life. But after he reluctantly goes to see him, we learn the deep, touching story of what really happened to his parents' relationship, and a much better understanding of what the "gift" can do to people.
Anybody who loves the character of Frank and his gift will love this episode. Great writing, and a very strong Christmas episode.
