  • An unusual misstep for an otherwise stellar first season.

    6.0
They can't all be winners, and "The Wild and the Innocent" represents the low-point of "Millennium's" First season. This Bonnie & Clyde-type story about a girl and her beau on a crime spree stinks from practically the first scene, and her droning narration (in the form of a letter to the baby she gave up for adoption) is laughable.

Frank is almost a side character in this one, as we follow the couple on their spree so the girl can recover her "Angel." With some polish, this one might have improved. The guest actors (Heather McComb, Jeffrey Donovan and John Pyper-Ferguson) are usually strong and have delivered good performances on other shows. It's an episode of "Millennium" that plays more like warmed-over Trailer Park Dinner Theatre.moreless
