Continuity: In the opening scene of this episode, Frank witnesses the execution of Ed Cuffle, the Polaroid killer that he spoke of in "Pilot." However, in that episode he claimed that Cuffle was serving triple life sentences, not facing the death penalty.
This is the second to last ever episode of Millennium.
The title of this episode "Via Dolorosa" means the Way of Sorrows. It is used to refer to the Stations of the Cross (also called the Way of the Cross or Via Crucis), a series of pictures or tableaux representing 14 scenes in the Passion of Christ.
