Mind The Gap

Show Summary

Mind the Gap is a game show, hosted by Paul Ross, airing in the United Kingdom. The theme of the show comes from the London Underground railway system, better known as the "tube." The set of the game show looks like an Underground platform. The format of the game is in the style of Trivial Pursuit with three contestants with buzzers who answer questions about general knowledge and life in London. In round one, contestants try to answer questions in the categories of food & drink, people, sport, nature, London life, and the world, trying to collect one correct answer from each "station." In round two, short films are shown in which the players try to spot inaccuracies regarding London landmarks. In round three, the contestants answer true or false questions and at the end of the round the player with the least points is excused. In round four, the remaining players return to the map from round one, but this time they may answer as many questions in the same category as they wish. The winner of this last round plays "Money Line," a lightning round where they must answer eight questions correctly in sixty seconds.
