Show Summary

Based on the international blockbuster film by Steven Spielberg and the 1956 short story by Philip K. Dick, Minority Report follows the unlikely partnership between a man haunted by the future and a cop haunted by her past. Set in 2065 Washington, D.C., it is ten years after the demise of Precrime, a law enforcement agency tasked with identifying and eliminating criminals - before their crimes were committed. Dash is a quiet, idealistic precog secretly living among society, who tries to use his ability to see future murders to save lives by teaming up with the brash, but shrewd, Detective Lara Vega to stop the crimes he predicts. They will forge an uneasy alliance with Dash’s manipulative twin brother, Arthur, an empire-builder who uses his ability to advance his own self-interest. Complicating matters is Vega’s newly appointed boss Will Blake along with Dash and Arthur’s ingenious, but reclusive, foster sister, Agatha who only wants the best for her two brothers, but may be playing a longer game than anybody knows. The series is produced by 20th Century Fox Television, Paramount Television, and Amblin Television. Executive producer Max Borenstein wrote and developed the series, and Kevin Falls, Steven Spielberg, Darryl Frank and Justin Falvey serve as executive producers.
