Please discuss the first of Thursday's 2 episodes "Hot Sub" here.

Summary: Becky finds herself in an awkward situation when a Spanish substitute teacher chooses to date her, but his presence threatens Tim's position at the school. At the same time, one of her students, Mandy, gives Becky a hard time when she considers throwing away her college plans for a boy.

This show is reminding of "Scrubs" which, I suppose, should be a compliment, however, I don't particularly like "Scrubs", although I do continue to watch it.

So, I remain unimpressed. Minor chuckle when Tim replied, "Hola." Another one when office clerk said she knows who Becky is.

Why should Tim prefer teaching Spanish, which he doesn't know, to auto shop, which, it seems, he does know? Why would Becky not see him if he's teaching shop?

It seemed too convenient that Beaux went straight for Becky.

It was definitly forumaltic but that's the beauty of the show. I really liked it and thought Ashton Kutcher was perfect in this. I'm liking this show's style alot, I expect to see Ms. Freely get more three-dementional throughout the season though. If this show works out it's kinks it could be a pretty funny show.

The pilot was OK and I felt that it had some potential, but after these two episodes, I've changed my mind. The show is very weak and just barely watchable. Judy Greer is being completed wasted.

    I doubt this will last.

I missed the Homecoming episode, so I'm kind of out of the loop as far as the shows format. But I almost died laughing when she made some comment about the new Spanish substitute then they show Ashton Kutcher in the slow motion walk down the hall. That was funny. There was some other funny stuff, but I haven't watched the episode after this one, so I'm reserving judgment.

I enjoyed the episode, but I really thought Ashton's character wasn't that funny thus leading to a weak performance.
