Bringing up Shrubby: While playing, Squirt and Bounce accidentally wreck one of the plants in Miss Spider's garden. To make it up to her, they take care of the plant they broke by watering it, protecting it from the harsh weather and even giving it a name, Shrubby. Stuck on You: Dragon wants to go build a pine cone fort, but Miss Spider makes him take Spinner along with him. When the two get their pine cones, they argue over what type of fort it should be, so they decide to each make their own fort. But then the two get covered in sticky pine sap and when they try to get it off, they end up stuck to each other. So now, Dragon and Spinner try everything they can to figure out how to get unstuck.moreless

Little Ladybug Lost: When Pansy and Shimmer encounter a little ladybug while out searching for treasure, they invite her to join them. She happily joins in and accepts an invitation to stay for dinner. Miss Spider wonders why they've never met her family and when she and Shimmer go to her home to welcome them to Sunny Patch, they find that it appears that Grace is living alone. Then, when Grace goes missing, Stinky and his big sister Whiffy join in the search.
A Beetle-ful Family: Grace has been living in Sunny Patch for a while now, but is convinced her family will be returning soon. As she settles in with Stinky and Whiffy for the time being, she works to prepare her home for the time when her family arrives. As winter comes to Sunny Patch, Stinky and Whiffy discuss what to do in the eventuality that Grace's family doesn't show.moreless -
Dam the Puddle: Sunny Patch is in the midst of an extended dry season and it's taking its toll on everyone. While out gathering dew, Squirt and Holley go for a quick dip in the Taddy Puddle, only to find that it's drying out. Squirt is devastated when he learns that his friend Felix and his family are going to have to move out of Sunny Patch due to the lack of water. He comes up with the idea to dam the puddle to keep it from drying out farther. Finding that it's a race against time, he urges all of Sunny Patch to get involved.
Flower Power: Squirt, Shimmer, Dragon, Felix, Honey and Lil Sis are all playing a game of Sunny Patch Superheroes. When Miss Spider and Eunice urge them all to buddy up, they consider it babyish, but agree to do it anyway. Then, when Squirt, Shimmer and Dragon insult Honey and Lil Sis' chosen superpower, "flower power" (the ability to climb into small flowers), they decide to go off and play on their own. When Lil Sis gets stuck in a flower, they all end up having to work together to rescue her.moreless -
Lost and Sound: When Holley has trouble coming up with lyrics for a song for the Sunny Patch Sing-Along Contest, Spinner helps him find the perfect rhyme. He gets the idea that maybe he could be songwriter too and, inspired by nature, comes up with the opening for a great song. Unfortunately, when he tries to recite it for Miss Spider and Holley, he finds that he's forgotten it completely. Holley introduces him to the Melody-Catcher -- a tool he's used in the past to help him remember the tunes to songs.
It's My Party: Squirt, Wiggle, Spinner, Pansy and Snowdrop try to determine what they should do for their hatchday party, unaware that their family and friends are all planning a surprise party. They have trouble deciding what activities they should do, as they all enjoy different things. Tired of sharing all the time, Squirt gets the idea to throw his own hatchday party, doing only what he wants.moreless -
Master Mantis: While out on a field trip with Bounce, Squirt, Wiggle, Dragon and Pansy, Mr. Mantis endeavors to teach them more about handling dangers. He informs them that the more they know about a danger, the safer they'll be. When he announces that they're going to take an up-close look at Venus Flytrap, the kids are scared as they have heard that these plants are monsters. To calm their fears, he tells them the tale of the wise Master Mantis, who once rescued Princess Honey Bee from one of these plants. Later, the kids use what they've learned to help a friend.
Bug-Versity: Hug-a-Bug Day is coming, a day in Sunny Patch when the bugs celebrate what is unique about each other. Mr. Mantis assigns the kids the task of finding another bug to dress up as and learn about. When Wiggle and Bounce can't think anyone, they decide to pair together to help find somebuggy. When it seems like all of their choices have already been taken, Miss Spider comes up with an inspired idea.moreless -
Bug Talk: For homework, Mr. Mantis has assigned the kids of his class to learn a new language, such as the buzzing of bumblebees or the chirping of crickets. Dragon has been assigned to learn about the light signals of fireflies, but does not relish the assignment. Miss Spider and Holley urge him to take the assignment seriously, telling him that learning another language is like getting a secret password. When Holley offers Dragon some one-and-one help, they both encounter Flint the firefly in a real-life predicament and Dragon gets to put his learning to practical use.
The Befuddled Butterfly: Shimmer and the others are disappointed when Cookie doesn't show up for a Bye-Bye Butterfly Party, but find her the next morning, lost. Cookie says that she's lost her "butterfly know-how" and without it, she can't fly migrate south for the winter. Miss Spider agrees to let her stay in the Cozy Hole for the winter, but suggests that what Cookie is really experiencing is a lack of confidence.moreless -
Squirt while playing with Dragon realizes how he can mimic other people's voices really well. They both start to play tricks on their brothers and sister but eventually they get mad and upset. Even Dragon gets mad and flies off after telling Squirt enough already.

Snake Charmer: Spiderus is tired of his kids doting on Holley and his treats. Determined to get his kids' attention, he makes a show of bravado by foraging in the Snakey Woods. Though nobuggy realizes it at first, he comes back with much more than he bargained for.
A Party for Pops: When Holley is sent out with a list of chores, he realizes that it's time for his family's annual surprise party in his honor. Along the way, he meets Sunny Patch's newest father, Spiderus, who has also been sent out to do chores. When Spiderus learns about the Spider family's tradition, he decides he'd like a party of his own. Meanwhile, Miss Spider and the kids plan a very surprising celebration.moreless -
After coming home from vacation, Spiderus and his family find out that their house is covered in mold. And to make matters worse, Spiderus and his son Mandrake are allergic to mold. So while Spindella and her daughters Bella and Ivy spend time at Miss. Spider's house, Spiderus and Mandrake go to Stinky's house. Spiderus doesn't really like spending time with Stinky because of his smell. But when Stinky's smell rescues Spiderus and Mandrake from being eaten by the snake, Spiderus changes his mind about Stinky.moreless -
Spring Unsprung: Spring is supposed to have come to Sunny Patch, but outside, the weather seems uncertain. Though certain obvious signs such as blooming flowers and swooping birds are out, cold winds are blowing. Squirt is so excited about Spring that he tries to wake up his froggy friend, Felix, from his long Winter's nap. Felix, however, is still sleepy, despite making his best efforts to enjoy the Spring day. Bumbling Bees: On Web-Weaving Day, Bounce eagerly helps his mom with web-testing, but Dragon finds himself bored and in need of fun. Seeing what the bee's are doing, he decides that it might be more fun to be a bee. Miss Spider decides to arrange this, and Dragon is soon put to work under the tutelage of Queen Beetrice's young daughter, Princess Honey. Dragon quickly discovers that the nectar-gathering tasks of bees are hardly just fun and games. Along the way, he also learns the ways of bee life, from waggle dances for communication to special honey tummies for the storage of the nectar that they gather.moreless

12/3/06Frog in the Moon: Impressed by Felix's jumping ability, Bounce suggests that he could jump all the way to the moon. Squirt, Bounce and Spinner playfully encourage the idea, not realizing that Felix and Bounce are taking it seriously. Felix ends up bouncing all the way up the Hollow Tree, not realizing that he's putting himself in danger.
Moon Music and Sun Songs: Scratch and his brothers, a band of crickets, move in to Sunny Patch near the Hollow Tree. This noisy band starts keeping up everyone late at night with loud rock music. When asked to stop, they say that they're simply doing what comes naturally. The bugs of Sunny Patch look for a way to help them see it's better to be good to bugs, lest they never get a decent night's sleep again.moreless -
11/19/06Lulla-Bug: Spiderus and Spindella are expecting spiderlings, which are close to hatching. Spiderus is obsessed with doing everything possible to prepare for their arrival. He at first dismisses Holley's idea of singing to them as silly, but decides to give it a shot. Snowdrop, who has been obsessed with the upcoming arrival of the babies, hears Spiderus's lullaby and sings along. She inadvertently causes him to believe that his unhatched children are singing back to him.
The Most Perfect Parent: Spindella heads out of Sunny Patch to attend her sister's wedding, leaving Spiderus to care for the three newborn spiderlings. Spiderus is convinced he's prepared for the task and settles to the work of painting their nursery. He soon finds, however, that caring for his children isn't as simple as he thought it might be. He takes to carrying a notepad and asks Miss Spider and Holley for advice, desperately worried that he's not providing proper care for his children.moreless -
10/22/06Night and Day: Stinky and Whiffy are headed off to the Garden Grove Perfume Festival. This adults-only exhibition of scented flowers will be a wonderful time for them, but it means that Grace will have to sleepover with the Spider family and be without their company for nearly two days. At first, Grace begs them not to go and then, once they've left, spends her time counting alone until sunset. She and Miss Spider have a heart-to-heart and she begins to come out of her shell. Cob Fog: The Flying Aces come to Sunny Patch for the Corn Carnival and agree to let Dragon join them for a special performance. As everyone readies for the big festival, Ted and Ned try their best to hide a corncob that they've found. Then, when a major fog rolls into Sunny Patch, Dragon becomes worried that he and the Aces will be trapped and miss the festival. He learns, however, that sometimes being daring means to dare to be safe.moreless

10/8/06Good Deed Seeds: After granting a favor to Spiderus and his family, Miss Spider suggests that instead of paying her back, they simply pass the good deed on to someone else. Spiderus isn't sure he understands Miss Spider's reasoning that doing so is like "planting a seed," but ends up passing on the deed anyway. Squirt, Dragon and Bounce watch with delight as the seed continues to grow and their friends spread good deeds throughout Sunny Patch. Shelley and the Brain: Since moving to Sunny Patch, Feather has established the Sunny Patch Strong Bug Club, but only has one member -- Shelley the snail. The two hold a meeting to try to gain more members for their club, which uses its members' combined strength to perform good deeds. Wiggle is the only one to apply and is rejected because they don't consider him strong enough. Though he wishes greatly to be in the club, Miss Spider urges him to consider that he has other qualities that may be important than pure physical strength.moreless

9/17/06Eclipse: While playing with their Uncle Gus, the kids notice that it's getting dark really early. Gus explains that it's because of a eclipse, which is when the moon blocks the sun. While Gus and the kids get prepared for the eclipse, Bounce fears that the sun may never come back and he thinks of a way to bring it back. Hide and Sleuth: Squirt and Bounce decide to play a game of Hide and Seek. Shelly asks if he can play too and the two let him, even though they think the game will be boring because Shelly is really slow. But during one round, they can't seem to find Shelley anywhere. With the help of Stinky, Squirt and Bounce look all over Sunny Patch for Shelley.moreless

9/16/06Giddy Up Bugs: Sawyer, a genuine cowbug, arrives in Sunny Patch with a group of aphids. They're harvesting honeydew and Squirt, Shimmer and Bounce get the go-ahead from Miss Spider to help her out. They agree to live by the cowbug code and work hard to assist her. Ned and Ted, however, on the lookout for an easy snack and decide to rustle Sawyer's aphids for their own purposes.
A Plushy Parable: When Miss Spider and Holley go away for a web-weaving workshop, Pansy has trouble getting to sleep. Grandma Betty tells her a bedtime story about the "pussy willow plushies" -- a type of toy that was popular when Miss Spider was a kid. She then reveals that she still has Miss Spider's one, "Catty," and agrees to lend it to Pansy until Miss Spider returns. Pansy is comforted by the toy, but then devastated when she loses it. Then, when Spiderus finds it and gives it to Ivy as a gift, she faces a dilemma when she learns that it's missing and realizes that it doesn't belong to her.moreless -
7/24/06All of Sunny Patch is excited when the Bee Brigade announces the birth of Beetrice's princess daughter, Honey. As Miss Spider's children go to pay their respects, they find that beetle royalty from Mushroom Glen have stopped by as well. Shimmer hears a tale of their King and Queen's lost princess and finds that it's possible that she may be that princess. She's told that she'll be able to find out if she comes to the Big Beetle Ball. Meanwhile, Squirt and his frog friend Felix have a competition to see who can become the Ultimate Prince of Sunny Patch. They all come together when an old friend, Stinky, offers to lend his balloon for transit to the ball. Along the way, Shimmer and the others realize that you don't have to be a prince or a princess to feel like royalty.moreless -
6/27/06After staying the night, it's time for Felix the frog to leave Cozy Hole and return home to his family. As the bugs try to put together a new "Bug Good to Bugs Day" festival, Spiderus learns of Felix and comes to realize that perhaps not all frogs are bad after all. As Mr. and Mrs. Frog try to find Felix, Felix expresses to Miss Spider that he doesn't want to go home. He feels his parents don't understand or even like him, and so he would rather stay and live as a bug. He says that maybe he's just not good at "frog stuff." As Miss Spider goes to find the Frog family and straighten the situation out, the other bugs in Sunny Patch come to the wrong conclusion. They lead a campaign against the frogs, not realizing that Miss Spider is only trying to reunite a family.moreless

3/23/06Pitch and Itch: When a dry spell comes to Sunny Patch, the bugs face a shortage of seeds, one of their prime food sources. Hungry, but not wanting to work, Ted and Ned stumble into a tricky plan to get some seeds. As they sell supposedly "magic" leaf carpets, many bugs in Sunny Patch start coming down with terrible itching. Bounce and Squirt, meanwhile, beg their parents for a carpet, but are warned that if something sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
Bounce Back: Bounce is rarely seen without his cheerful grin, but now it seems to have deserted him. Trying to help him out, Shimmer tells him a tale of brave knights on a quest. The knights make a discovery that seems to apply to Bounce's situation.moreless -
3/22/06Fungus Among Us: Heavy rains have come to Sunny Patch, bringing both sniffles and sneezes as well as an infestation of mushrooms. When Wiggle spots one of these mushrooms while out gathering ingredients for Miss Spider's special soup, he asks to take it home. It's a cute little mushroom, but Holley warns against bringing into the Hollow Tree, as the spores will spread and get everywhere. Figuring that such a small mushroom could cause no more, Wiggle takes it anyway and soon the Hollow Tree starts filling up with mushrooms. As Wiggle withholds the truth, he is tormented by a nightmare of mushrooms taking over all over Sunny Patch and become a mushroom himself.
Ground Bound: Berry, a crane fly, has always done a great job as the lifeguard at the Taddy Puddle, but fears his days on duty are over when he injures his wings. Dr. Bee-Better tells him he'll no longer able to fly. Miss Spider and the others agree to let him recuperate in the Cozy Hole, but can't help noticing how sad he is. The kids all band together to try help him find a new way to take flight.moreless -
3/21/06Best Bug Buddies: When Spindella's niece, Petal, pays a visit to Sunny Patch, Miss Spider encourages Squirt to play with her, suggesting that they could go websurfing. At first, Squirt is reluctant to believe that she can surf at all, but soon learns that she's an excellent surfer. In fact, he soon decides that she's a showoff and doesn't really want to play with him. Miss Spider suggests giving her another chance, but Squirt isn't so sure.
Snuggle Bugs: Heading out for a night on the town, Miss Spider and Holley finds themselves facing a fierce storm. They make it home before the weather gets really rough, but are disappointed. The kids now need to be put to bed, so it seems that the two will have no peace. Shimmer bravely offers to help her brothers and sisters get to bed, saying she's not afraid of the storm. She gets all of the pre-bedtime tasks taken care of, but finds that her siblings are having trouble sleeping because of their fear of the storm. She tells them a tale of brave adventure and soon everyone is involved.moreless -
3/20/06Eight Legs Up: The Sunny Patch kids are all excited about competing in the Pinecone Derby. Snowdrop is eager to compete, but feels that she's too clumsy when she trips and falls into a little beetle who comments that she has a lot of legs. Worried that it's her eight legs that are making her clumsy, she first tries walking with less legs and then tries to fly. When none of this helps her any, she begins to worry that she's clumsy no matter what she does.
Spider Mom: Sunny Patch is having a Silly as a Dilly Bug-a-Thon for needy bugs, but when Uncle Gus sprains his arm, Squirt finds himself needing a new partner. Miss Spider reluctantly agrees to become his new partner, but hasn't had much training and isn't really in shape. As Squirt and Miss Spider try their best at the events, they both come to realize that the object is not necessarily to win.moreless -
3/16/06Seeing Straight: Out playing with Shimmer, Dragon discovers a pair of missing glasses. He feels he can have a lot of fun with them until Miss Spider and Holley help him to see that he needs to search for their owner. Dragon gets to searching, but can't resist the idea of making them part of one of his games.
Stumped!: It's a fall day and there's a mushroom-picking expedition getting ready to start. Shimmer has been working on a scarecrow, but needs a berry for the head. Dragon and Squirt are bored and want to play soccerberry, so Squirt also needs a berry. Shimmer and Squirt find the same berry and soon get to arguing. They chase each other all over the place and fight back-and-forth. When the fight spills into the Cozy Hole, Miss Spider and Holley try to put a stop to the arguing. Holley first tries having them spin choices on the "Wheel of Choice," but with little success. When he says that he's stumped, Miss Spider gets the idea to put the two together on a stump until they can forgive each other.moreless -
3/15/06The Thinking Stone: Squirt finds himself torn when he agrees to attend two different activities --- Lil Sis's hatchday party and a tuber tuba parade. Squirt receives a lot of advice, but Holley helps him to see that what he needs is a quiet place to sit down and think. Squirt begins his search, knowing he has to make a decision quickly.
Big Bad Bug Sitter: It's Miss Spider and Holleys' anniversary and Spindella helps the kids to hoist their present into the Cozy Hole --- a beautiful spider plant. Holley has a surprise of his own for Miss Spider --- dinner-for-two at Le Bistro followed by the Sunny Patch Player's performance of "Romeo and Junebug." Unfortunately, it looks like they won't be able to attend when none of their normal buggysitters are available, until Spindella volunteers for the job. Soon the kids are having fun, but Shimmer feels left out when her desired activity keeps getting put on hold, and Spiderus finds himself missing his wife.moreless -
3/14/06Family Tree: Mr. Mantis gives the class an assignment to make a family tree. Most of the Spider family is excited by the project, but Shimmer is upset by the fact that she doesn't have anything from her hatchday tree to add to the project. Miss Spider joins her on a search for the tree and shares some of her past along the way. Shimmer is cheered up and also comes to a realization.
The Jitterbug: Everyone is excited when Squirt announces that he's performing an amazing new websurfing trick. The trick, the "Super Spider Surfer Loop-de-Loop," ends up throwing Squirt for a loop, but nobody except Pansy knows what really happened. Now, they all want him to perform the trick again, while Squirt is too scared to websurf at all.moreless -
3/13/06Captain Sunny Patch: Squirt wants to play Sky Chiefs with Shimmer and Dragon he gets left behind because he can't fly. Determined to be a flying superhero like his siblings he makes himself some flying gear. He tries leaves, dandelion seeds and finally a set of hummingbird wings with an acorn helmet. Before he knows it he is transformed into Captain Sunny Patch --- a superhero with a secret identity. Though Squirt doesn't know it, he will soon be faced with a situation that requires true courage.
The Return of Captain Sunny Patch: Squirt is outside with Wiggle, trying to teach him to surf the web for the very first time. Wiggle pays close attention, but is nervous and scared. In an attempt to help him, Squirt dons his Captain Sunny Patch outfit, but is blown away by a stiff wind. As Wiggle tries to work up his courage, Squirt finds himself in the Snakey Woods, where he learns that there is a fire headed towards Sunny Patch.moreless
